The Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point allows a wide range of motion providing ambidextrous weapon manipulation. The ASAP replaces standard AR-15/M4 carbine stock receiver end plates.
The ASAP works best with hook style attachments like HK hooks, MASH hooks, or the Magpul Paraclip. Made from precision cast steel, the ASAP has been tested to withstand stress of over 300 lbs.
NOTE: The ASAP is not compatible with A1/A2 fixed stocks.

Excellent sling point but noisy

This sling point attachment is on almost all of my rifles. It is loud though so if you are looking for stealth look at something else.

This is my second one now. They work great are very tough. The only problem with it I have is the rattle of metal on metal when hunting. Other wise 5 stars

This is a great improvement over a standard receiver end plate. Rather than having a tab on the end plate that aligns with the slot in the buffer tube there is a notch in the end plate and it comes with a small keyway that aligns the two parts. The keyway is much thicker and stronger than the tab on the original endplate and prevents rotation while tightening. No more stripped out buffer tubes! The ambidextrous sling mount works great too! Highly recommended!

There's many options for sling points at the reciever end plate but the magpul asap is probably the best in my opinion. Many pros of the design. And the only con is the ring makes a little scratching noise when moved around but I'm pretty sure no one in combat is using this so I can live with it. Very pleased with it.
