The Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point allows a wide range of motion providing ambidextrous weapon manipulation. The ASAP replaces standard AR-15/M4 carbine stock receiver end plates.
The ASAP works best with hook style attachments like HK hooks, MASH hooks, or the Magpul Paraclip. Made from precision cast steel, the ASAP has been tested to withstand stress of over 300 lbs.
NOTE: The ASAP is not compatible with A1/A2 fixed stocks.

Favorite sling mount

I have these mounts on 3 AR15’s and they are the best by far. A word of caution, I’m building an ar10 on a palmetto state gen 2 lower. This mount will not work unless you modify it which wasn’t hard but will be necessary.

Like all the Magpul products I've used, this simply works. Well thought out. Installation can be tricky your first time with the little "key" you have to insert but with some choice curse words, you'll get it done. Yes it is a little rattler but that's something I can live with. The quality and practicality of the product far outshines a little rattle when you don't have a sling attached and/or carrying it.
Ideal Function

After a week of carbine training, I settled in on using my lower with this endplate sling attachment. It was ideal for a single point sling with quick detach prongs or hooks on it. It allows you to easily move the rifle back and fourth between shooting hands as needed and does this very smoothly by design.

Another GREAT product from Magpul !! The ASAP is installed on several of my tools. A little noise ? Yes try tape heat shrink tube or cut off the link. The MS3 sling clamp/ hook will fit on the loop ( if you remove the link). PA Service is second to none. And I always get a return via email or phone call with any questions I have had in the past with friendly staff members.
