not so good for me
by andrew blossy
The sling we are referring to is not real familiar . That makes sense since all my other slings are the familiar straps that fit through two swivles on either end of the rifle. So now that have I tried the 2 point method, I am not impressed. It did not give me the same stability, like wrappng it around the fore arm and settling into my shoulder . I could not find any 1 point illustrations I'd like to see how the various points . That may help, my own clumsyness may need some help. Thanks
Great Sling!!! The best I own!
by Bruce
This is, to date for me the best sling I own.
The 2-point to Single point QD system is the only sling I need. It’s not bulky, it’s quite, it’s made very well, it doesn’t clink or chatter, it’s fast to deploy and super fast to adjust!
I have this sling on 2-weapons……an AR Carbine and an AR Saint 5.5 PDW. I don’t know what else you would need. It’s good for long and short guns, regardless of type of firearm from AR pistol to long barrel 30-06, and it would work well even on a Shotgun.
You can get QD mounts for almost any configuration. I really think highly of this sling and recommend this one. Also it does not have a foam pad on it but it is very comfortable to wear. I’m sure I could get a pad to fit it if I felt like I needed it but for me it’s just something that would get in my way.
Love the QD conversion, but needs some streamlining

The QD is awesome and very convenient, I really love that aspect. You can easily adjust the sling for various body sizes and the quick adjust is awesome. However, sometimes the 2-1 conversion piece can get in the way of my cheek weld, although fairly rarely. My number one complaint is the discomfort caused by wearing your rifle for too long, although if you toss a few layers on it's really not a big issue.
Great quality but clumsy.

I really wanted to love it but it had to go. The 2-1 attachment is big and gets in the way when shouldering and the slider feels huge. I don't know what it weighs but compared to the slings that start with V it feels like an old Buick compared to a Miata around your neck. Great price compared to the V slings with the same specs. I would not recommend for serious work.
Pricey, but good quality

As always, Magpul means pricey, but good quality.

It's Magpul. It works and looks awesome. No issues
Shoulder mount interference
by Dave
I *really* wanted to like this sling. However, the metal QD socket (stitched into the sling near the stock end) constantly interferes with my should mount (ie. it gets in between the butt pad and my shoulder weld). Not comfortable and downright distracting! My stock is a Daniel Defense and I'm using its built-in QD socket.
While the sling is good quality, I'm going to go for a Vickers or maybe a Magpul MS1 with the QD swivels, which do *not* have anything near the stock to interfere with mounting my weapon.

I have the Magpul MS3 and the MS4, love them both. The best slings, period.
Excellent

Good quality easy to adjust. If i where to do it over again i probably would go with the para clip version over the QD only because of preference.
