Great Back-up Sight

Just like the matching rear sight this is a great back-up sight. The color matches all Magpul FDE functions flawlessly holds zero and enjoys positive firm sight adjustment. The concern of these being polymer instead of metal is one that I hear a lot but something I feel to be unfounded. If your budget keeps you from dropping over $100 per sight this is the one for you.
Light Sanding Required

Somewhat disappointed. The site would not flip up and had to force it to flip down I don't know if it was out of spec or do to the large diameter of my Aero M4E hand guards which are quite large. Was able to rectify with some light sanding on the bottom of the lever. The lever was bottoming out on the hand guard, not allowing the latch to completely disengage. The tolerance on the rear diopter was extremely tight as well. Instructions say to pop out with thumb nail. How about a screwdriver? Was I expecting the same quality as my Troy Battle Sights? No, but I was expecting better tolerances from Magpul. They do fit under my scope and the FDE matches all my other Magpul furniture and they look cool, which is the most important thing, right?🤔

Honestly, these are perfect for what they are. Sub $100 for both the rear and front sight is a steal of a deal for what you get. Of course these aren't going to compare to real iron sights that are nearly double the price, however these sights fill a gap for anyone who is looking to spend less than $120 on "iron" sights. Also, these are useful mainly for backup sights- so when you need them they're there for you, and when you don't need them they flip down out of sight!

Sight fits well on the rails, but the unit is so tight that I have to push both side of the spring lever multiple times to get it to actually pop up. Disappointed.
