I was very pleased with the rail with some minor fitting it was installed. Using it with a MI T-1 topcover mount. Together the best setup for me.

One GREAT fore end upgrade

These are truly great fore ends that attach rock solid. One might want to consider adding a forward handgrip as this add on does get pretty warm in extended firing sessions. As for mounting instructions there are videos aplenty on Utube and the install is incredibly easy. Best to use on a very light AK as it does add a bit of weight and a rear grip upgrade might be a good idea as especially the Palm handgrip helps to overcome any forward heavy situations which might come about when one adds this fore end plus whatever one wishes to mount on it. GREAT grip though and Midwest Industries continues to provide superb accessorie for the shooting public.
Poor instructions, great quality... NOT universal!

Had to drop $40 to my local gunsmith for this to fit my Palmetto State PSAK47 GF3.., which was very agreeable considering the work he had to do. It was about half an inch too short for my handguard, so not exactly “universal” as advertised. I’ll be taking it out to see if it holds zero with my Holosun ACSS micro dot after I get it back. High quality mount, but the instructions suck, and it is not truly universal.
