POF USA Drop In Trigger 4.5LB Single Stage

I have a Timney 3lb in my Windham AR and it is nice and good. Real pain to install with those small set screws. Then I came across the POF 4.5 lb on sale at Christmas at super price and ordered it. I am so glad it was on sale otherwise I may not have purchased it. So much easier to install and it came with the anti rotate pin kit included in the package. That is a $30 savings. I tried the trigger in my Core 15 and was absolutely blown away on how good it felt. It put the Timney to shame. It is much crisper no take up no over travel and great reset. The clean crisp break just far out ways a lower 3lb pull of the Timney. It really feels like 3lb or better due to the crisp break. I love letting people pull the trigger on this POF and they are flat out surprised. This trigger gives such better accuracy. Go for it...you will not be dissatisfied and you will save some $$$ over the competition with the anti rotate pins included. I bought a second one for my son-in-law and he is a CMC user. Well he is a POF patron now.

Fit was way to tight in my receiver and would not function properly. Primary didn't want to take it back because I had installed it. I filed the trigger housing down to get it to fit still was to tight and functioned 50% of the time. I contacted POF and they wanted nothing to do with it. So look for a video on YouTube where I blow this crap trigger up with some Tannerite. Not real happy with primary arms and I will never deal with POF again!

this is my first aftermarket trigger...bought it on sale..im glad i did..its well worth the money and would buy again..very smooth and crisp..

Took a look at the trigger when I received it looks awesome I have no doubt it'll work in my build perfectly received it 2 days after ordering it customer service was awesome!

I am giving this trigger 3 stars. The appearance and machining of the trigger is excellent. I was disappointed when I went to "drop in" this trigger in my lower I was putting together. The front of the trigger housing is not rounded enough to fit into a mil-spec lower. I had to use the dremel in order to make it fit. It didn't take much but it needs to be reworked by P.O.F. After I got it installed I was pleased with the performance. The reset is exceptional. Worth the $$, but be ready to do a little trimming to make it fit.

I had been looking at this trigger knowing nothing about POF. PA had one of their amazing sales and at $100 I figured I'd take the risk. Boy was I thankful I did! I had no fitting issues on either of my lowers. Went right in, and is smooth and crisp. This made me look into the company, and they really know what they're doing. I have since bought several of their products, and thanks to another PA sale, my second POF trigger will be here on Wednesday. I decided to try the advanced finger placement model this time, and will post a review once I test it out.

The action of this trigger is great- nice crisp release, short reset, very little creep. However, like some other reviewers have noted, mine required a little fitting to get it into my Aero Precision Gen. 2 lower receiver. I spent about 30 minutes trying to get the pins to go in, but they just wouldn't go. I looked at the trigger housing and could see where the anodizing was coming off of the edge of the chamfer at the lower front corner of the housing. A little rounding of that edge with a fine file and it went together without any further problems. It didn't take much, but it shouldn't have taken any. So, since I probably lost my warranty, it lost a couple of stars.

This is a nice trigger- very crisp, short reset, very little creep. However, it required some minor modifications to get it to fit into my Aero Precision Gen 2 lower receiver. The chamfer at the forward edge of the trigger housing had to be rounded a little in order to get the pinholes to line up. Other than that, I'm very happy with the trigger.

I have tried other triggers at higher prices in the past and have never been disappointed. I saw this one on sale and decided to give it a try. And I'm glad I did! It was a true "drop in" for my Spike's Tactical lower. I was a little concerned by the lower price, but I find this item to be on par with the much more expensive models. Clean, crisp and consistent pull. Very nice.
I would recommend this trigger to anyone. No matter if this is your first AR build or your tenth. It will not disappoint!

This is an awesome awesome trigger. And for the price PA offers for it then it's a complete steal! The only complaint I see in reviews are guys saying they had to file down the trigger to fit and the pin holes wouldn't line up etc. I had the same issue, however, I was installing it on an F1 when I purchased the skeletonized version of this trigger. Same issue, I tried and tried for about an hour trying to squeeze it in. Tried using tools, slave pins, etc. nothing. Then after close investigation I notice these small rubber inserts on the bottom of the housing on both ends. And behold they push right out!! Once I removed these small rubber inserts the trigger fit like a glove. Not sure if they were there to prevent scratching on the housing when in the receiver but they aren't attached permanently at all and slide right out of the groove with the push of a finger. B the trigger fit and function perfectly after pushing them out. Don't knock this trigger til you try it.
