It'll do the job.

It's a pretty basic cantilever mount. Definitely standard 1.5" height, solid enough when torqued. Would not recommend lug nut tight as the screws are spring secured and don't need all possible torque.
Solid

Solid construction, one of the hexagon bolt heads has a little extra metal so the tool cannot go all the way in but it still works.

It’s a scope mount… nothing special. It does it’s job.
An Elegant Engineering Solution

Simple and effective. A one piece solution that is much lighter than a pair of extra high rings.
Solid mount for the price
by Steve -
I have a lot of expensive mounts and judging by the quaility things I have starting dealing with from PA wanted to try some mounts and have high expectations they will be solid. So far it is running great with no issues, since I install them correctly and lock tight and torque. It is on a Sig 716 DMR and no issues or concerns.
Solid - does what its supposed to do

Holds scope secure - no problems with screws / torque others have mentioned.
It’s a Mount

What’s to say? It fits. It holds the optic steady. Wish it was made of Gold? 🤣!
Not what I thought....soft screws
by 59Beetle -
The mount has high reviews and that is why I bought it with my scope. I am a "hobbiest" mechanic and have a good amount of mechanical experience and tools. I also have probably mounted 50 scopes in my life so this was not my first rodeo.
I attempted to mount the mount and the bolt/screws stripped. I used a newer craftsman torque wrench set to 15 lbs. Both bolt/screws stripped at this setting. I tested the torque wrench and I saw no defect in how the wrench was working. The stripped threads on my mount are incredibly soft....like the composite metal never hardened due to too much soft material. I don't know what happened but I replaced the PA mount with another brand... used the same torque wrench and had no issues with a Vortex product. Mine is going back. I can say my experience with PA products otherwise has been quite positive.

Perfect partner

This mount, that was recommended by Primary Arms, is the perfect partner for the scope I purchased. Fun to work with people who want to help you.
