This 6x Magnifier is part of the mid-tier optics line called GLx. GLx brings premium technology and materials into an approachable price range.
The Primary Arms GLx 6x Magnifier brings the reach and the precision of a low power variable optic to your MD25 G2 red dot. With exceptional glass clarity and a large 2.5 inches of eye relief packed into a lightweight aluminum body weighing in at only 7.2 ounces and a length of 3.9 inches, this 6x red dot magnifier will greatly improve your range capabilities without getting in the way. A flip to side mount is included in the box saving you the headache of buying a compatible mount separately and gives you the flexibility to quickly switch between 1x for CQB and 6x for longer ranges. Additionally, the 6x magnifier is compatible with the vast majority of 2-screw style magnifier mounts if you are running a higher red dot mount. Primary Arms also offers a mount riser (sold separately) for the included FTSM mount to bring the optical centerline of the magnifier up to 1.93". If you are wanting the flexibility of an LPVO but don't want to get rid of your favorite red dot sight, then you can't go wrong adding the PA 6x Magnifier to your setup.
Note: When using a magnifier with a prism sight, you must adjust the diopters on both the sight as well as the magnifier until you get a clear reticle.
Not recommended for use with SLx MD-25 ACSS variant.

Absolutely amazing!

using this with a 1x prism, mounted in front... works quite well! You can also mount it behind a red dot, or in front of any lpvo scope for extra magnification. Try it in front of and behind your optic to see what works for you
Awesome - rock solid

Bought one to go with an AR that I had an Eotech on and lined up perfect. Sharp crisp solid construction n nice flip mount. Liked it so much I replaced my PA 3x on my other AR with the 6x also. No distortion of my Holo or my Prism 1x reticles.
Sweet magnifier

paired this 6x with my eotech xps-2 and it is aligned perfectly and is a match made in heaven. Solid build, good flip to side retention. Will try this with the PA ACCS reticle prism when it arrives for clarity and if it rocks - I will buy another 6x
Don’t expect it to play well with cheap red dots.

Picked this up out of curiosity to see if a magnifier of this power would ever be practical. It does work well through quality optics that have clear, non-tinted glass. Crispy reticle through my EXPS 3-0 and 2-0 and 2 Aimpoints (Comp M3 and Comp M2). Paired best with my Sig Romeo 4T Pro with its very good glass and multi reticle system.
Cheap dots did not do so well. This level of magnification really brings out any imperfections in reticles or dot roundness and sharpness and the clarity and tint of the glass really become noticeable. This is not a fault of the magnifier as it just does one job and does it pretty well.
Great magnifier, but one issue with it

I bought the Magnifier for my optic that was also made from primary arms. I cannot get them both to be at the same height wind mounted.

This magnifier is magnificent. Clarity is chefs kiss. No distortion, bending, chromatic aberration, clear image. Great eye relief. Better than my old SIG Juliet 3x. Field of view is pretty good.
The body construction for the tube is superb. Even the flip to side is made incredibly well. The SIG after time didn't want to return to the same point after a little abuse. This one even after rough handling still clicks into place at the exact same point. Don't have to look for your donut or dot.

Swapped out my vortex 3x to the new primary 6x, very happy so far took it out to the range and dialed in my Aug / aimpoint red dot at 200 meters. Highly recommended
Horrendous optical quality

Evaluated it for 0 minutes it's getting returned for a refund immediately. Horrendous optical quality. Mounted behind an Aimpoint M4s, it reduced a crisp dot to a blurry smear. Focus adjustment did not produce any significant improvement. Very disappointed.
Just works

I waited to write this review until after a few range trips and my final consensus is this is an amazing value for the high quality. It feels and looks like solidly constructed. The glass quality is superb with no tint that I could see. Eyebox is a bit more forgiving than my GLX 1-6x LPVO at max magnification. I can't say anything about the mount that comes with it because I bought an Eotech qd switch to side mount that pairs perfectly with it.
It's paired with an Eotech EXPS3-4 and Magpul PRO backup iron sights. The Eotech's reticule look amazing after I adjusted the diopter to my eyes and I was getting some good consistent grouping at 100 yards.
I was also able to use this in some pouring rain and the magnifier held up beautifully without any noticeable fogging. The only thing I'm unsure of so far it how it fares in sub freezing weather. So far this is a winner in my book.

Pre ordered this as soon as I was able too. Magnification is great addition for that little extra range your looking for. This is my first magnifier ever, but but when paired with a Slx MD-25 CQB gen 1 it is very blurry. It's possible I have astigmatism and I will find out more on that later(I do wear corrective lens), but I hope this product works for you. Seems like an awesome product for the price outside of vision problems
