Primary Arms SLx 3X Micro Magnifier

It is definitely smaller then my holosun and vortex, and lighter. Glass is crystal clear.

I purchased it to put behind the PA 1x micro prism, which I love, but even though they say its compatible, it doesn’t appear so. I ran the diopter all the way out on the magnifier and the reticle was still way too fuzzy so I moved the prism dioter half way out and it became crystal clear when looking thru the magnifier, but when I moved the magnifier the prism was too out of focus. There was no middle ground. It was either one was clear and other was way out of focus, or both were slightly out of focus.

Bummer it doesnt come with a mount.

Does the job, works as advertised. Highly recommended.

NOTE: This don't come with a mount, I got the 2 screw flip to side one also made by PA.
The magnifier's quality and finish seem really well done,and the glass clarity and light transmission are fine. The eyebox is somewhat narrow, but that's to be expected with magnifiers in general. I use this magnifier with the Swampfox Blade 1X Prism Optic, it required it bit of adjustment from the magnifier to center and focus on the reticle, but when I was finished it was very clear and in the center of the optic's view. Love the magnifier, feels really good for the price.

I wanted to have a chance to shoot a match using this magnifier before writing a review and I got that done yesterday so here's my initial review. The glass is shockingly good, the weight is light at around 8 oz total with mount, and I would absolutely adore the magnifier instead of only liking it if not for the eye relief. I run the magnifier as far back as it can go on my rail and even still I have to consciously put my head forward to get an ideal sight picture.

That said, despite the short eye relief I had no problem shooting from relatively difficult positions and it made life easy when prone. I had zero issues seeing the roughly 6" plate out 350 yards.

For the price and weight it's really hard to beat despite the eye relief. I have friends with expensive magnifiers and red dots that look less clear and weigh significantly more that are only nicer in terms of eye box.

Using with the 1X Cyclops. Works great!

Absolutely fantastic magnifier, side by side with my buddies Eotech and can’t see much difference except the significant difference in size. This think is slick and works great, great paired with red dot or micro prism!

I’m thinking of using a 1.93” height stand for my micro prism 1x, I need something to add the height on the 3x magnifier to match. Thanks PA!

Using it behind an eotech and I have to say glass is crystal clear. I have 2 eotech magnifiers and this is just as good at 1/3 of the cost and smaller. Wish I tried this out before I spend 5-600 on the eotech magnifiers I would have saved a lot of money.

I don't have much experience with magnifiers, but this feels very solidly built and the glass is very clear. It was easy to set up and use. The price is excellent and feels like it would cost twice as much.

Very happy with the quality in this micro magnifier. Fit seamlessly with my red dot and is perfect size for my 10.3 AR upper. Would buy again.
