Etched reticle, clear glass, great value

by

Great optic, especially for the price. The etched reticle is great for astigmatisms. Illumination is crisp and I can still perfectly make out the Chevron with it on. This is the only Chevron I’ve ever seen that wasn’t a blurry mess. The 1X is similar to the kind of 1X you see on a LVPO- it’s not like an Aimpoint, eye relief applies. I’m glad they made the reticle larger than Gen 1 because it’s the perfect size. ACOG base makes sense once you hold it in your hands and it’s heavier and more “built” than I was expecting. Factory mount is fine- not going QD. Also appreciate minimal branding and minimal white lettering. Only gripe is the illumination dial. My numbers seem to all be half intervals, so “off” is between 0-1 (will make a paint marker dot below the notch). Also, I keep loosening the battery cap while adjusting- will have to get used to that. 1MOA adjustments mean fewer clicks and easier math.

Highly recommend!

Crystal clear with very nice ACSS reticle and wide field of view. High quality optic with an affordable price.

Beautiful

Great little optic at a great price. The illumination is perfect, even on a bright Florida day. Initial quality seems excellent. It cowitnessed on my Colt 6920 right out of the box and it comes with numerous mounting options. Finally someone has made a quality red dot option for people who have an astigmatism. I'm going to buy another.

Great scope for the price point!

I use these as red dot replacement because of the etched reticle and it exceeds my expectations. I mounted farther up the rail to allow for 3x compact magnifier to mount behind it. I mounted the cantilever mid mount and face it forward. (may not be as intended but it works great)
I don't get the whole and complete sight picture (about 90%) but the reticle is sized to allow for clear picture for my purposes and use.
It sighted in quick/accurate on 300 blackout/458 SOCOM.
Reticle is very bright and crisp. There are 3 things that could stand improvement. For my use as a red dot alternative. The illumination dial is moderately in the field of view but not so much that it is a major issue. The 1 MOA clicks are more of an issue beyond 50 yards. My biggest issue is the diopter knob adjustment. It is knurled and snug. (good things) The size could be slightly wider for easier adjustment or a more aggressive knurling to allow for easier adjustment.
Thanks Primary Arms for Great product!

Epic Optic!

by

I’m absolutely 100% satisfied. This optic is High quality and very smooth looking. Very clear glass and an amazingly crisp reticle. The included mounting options are a huge bonus! Thank you Primary Arms for delivering another excellent product! I can’t wait for a 5X version.

Almost perfect

by

Pros; small size, light weight for a prism, snag free housing, very generous eye relief, auto sleep and wake mode as this is on a home defense AR, larger reticle than previous model (which I still have and love), very bright red reticle, mount can be configured high where I like ‘em.

Con: 1 MOA adjustments, would prefer 1/2, but for my home defense purposes, this really isn’t a con.

It arrived yesterday and I immediately mounted it. Taking it to the range today.

Awesome little optic

by

Mounted this on my ARV. I have to say I’m impressed. This is the perfect replacement for a red dot. The adjustments are 1 MOA per click, which is good enough for a 9mm. With rifle calibers I’d say it would need 1/2 MOA adjustments for longer ranges. But overall I’m satisfied with this optic because of having astigmatism.

Great optic!

by

It’s just as fast as a dot sight. While adjustments are 1moa mine was easily sighted in. I am running a micro 3x magnifier behind it, and the combo is lighter than my LPVO. The reticle is clear and 50/200 is my preferred zero. I am planning on getting more!

Just Buy it, you won't regret it

by

I picked this up from PA. I'm older, glasses, astigmatism, Red Dots don't work anymore. I took a leap of faith, I own some other Optics from PA. I put this on my Tavor SAR right out of the box. Yeah the chevron is small, but it works. Accuracy is amazing, like 2 MOA at 100 yds. (Acceptable for a battle rifle and old eyes) The glass is great, very clear, use 2 eyes. The diaopter is very cool, when it is "in" you can see "okay" with your glasses, wind it out and you can set it to your eyes. No refraction or "exploding dots" It has the "motion sensor" technology. Yes I waited a month for it. But I'm gonna get 2 more, "much better" than the Holosun Prism sight. Really compact, it's perfect. And it has the "Forever Warranty" what's better than "Forever"?? PA launched it out of the park with this one.
