Primary Arms SLx 1X MicroPrism™ Scope - Red Illuminated ACSS Cyclops Reticle - Gen II

To get this con out of the way, my only complaint is that it's not made in the states. For this design and quality I would easily by 2, or 3x the MSRP if made here. Nonetheless, this is awesome. High quality, great optics, and no costly mounts to go out and buy. The lead designer listens to the customer while the big ones listens to the government, which doesn't change the specs very often. Nice to see such great innovation at great value. Highly recommended.

I purchased this optic for an AK47 pistol. It has the ACSS reticle, the reason for the 4 stars is because there's NO way to see the different elevation holds for the top of the chevron, bottom of the chevron and the ends of the chevron. I'm going to use the pistol at 10-100 yards range so not a huge deal, but the reticle would be 100% better IMO if it was a little large

I seriously don't know why the reticle is so small when its a fixed 1x power. I've noticed this with other brands as well. As always, 1st class service and fast shipping with PA!

This optic has a lot going for it. The reticle is awesome, the illumination is awesome, the weight, toughness, design, and mount compatibility all put it head and shoulders above everything else in its category. It's as fast as a red dot, but more precise, and much better if you have astigmatism or other vision issues.

I have only two minor critiques, and they are very minor: the illumination dial clicks are not very positive. It's not a huge issue because you just turn it until the illumination is right for your light condition but it's oddly mushy on an optic that otherwise feels perfect. The second, minor issue is related - the illumination dial and battery housing is big. You can easily use this optic with both eyes open so it doesn't affect sight picture very much but in an ideal world it would be smaller.

I would absolutely buy this optic again and I am considering buying more for other rifles. It's that good.

I really like this optic. As I am getting older and my eyes are not as good as they once were I have been ditching red dots in favor of prism optics. I do not understand the complaints about the 1" adjustments. This is not an optic for long range shooting. Adjusting the point of impact on this optic is very quick. I have one of these optic's on a Mossberg 930 and it has met and exceeded all of my expectations.

Outstanding prism unit. Only negative is that the Britney’s adjustment bezel is entirely too narrow. This allows common unintentional loosening of the battery cover/retainer which has no active retention feature. Also the narrow bezel make for very poor purchase and control of the feature. Otherwise, excellent product at this price point.

The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is the 1moa adjustments but aside from that this optic is really solid!
Great clarity and eye relief. The Etched reticle is clear and easy to see without illumination and the illumination doesn’t bloom/bleed off the etched reticle. It stays nice and sharp. I have astigmatisms in both eyes that have made me sell and move away from my long trusted Aimpoints. I have zero issues with this prism setup, illuminated the reticle stays sharp.
The build quality so far also seems really good. Nothing feels cheap about the optic housing or components and the Mount it comes with is shockingly nice for an included Mount on a more budget friendly optic made in China like this one. This Mount should be soft pot metal garbage with pre stripped out threading. Instead it’s a high quality, adjustable machined piece of awesome!

Bought onein FDE for Mossberg 590... buying two more, one for Last aca M92 pistol (braced), other for TPS M-100 shotgun/rifle. Super bright clean reticle image. Daylight visible on setting 8...five more clicks to top brightness. Eye relief is great, perfectly clear at about five inches (on 590). Great product, very light weight. Way to go PA...

Put this on an AR15 in 5.56 and the performance was fantastic. The included mounting system is excellent, the reticle is outstanding and the field of view for such a small optic is surprising. I like the etched reticle and the brightness settings are perfect for all lighting conditions. Up until now my favorite optic was the Trijicon MRO but at half the price red dot is hard to beat. Seems just as if not more so rugged that much more expensive options. The only draw back and it's a small one is the 1 MOA adjustment increments which could make it difficult to really dial it in at range but out to 50 yards on my rifle it was dead on.

I have many mro, holosun, vortex. This is my new favorite, as well as the GLX. GREAT PRICE, quality mounts, even though needed the cantilever for lower 1/3. Reticle so bright, and glass super clear. will get many more

I have always had an issue with red dots blooming. I have astigmatism and this is one of the first reticles that I have seen that is crystal clear. I own a Eotech, Trijicon RMR, and a holosun. This optics clarity is by far the best. I haven't been able to shoot it so I can't speak on it holding a zero, any flickering when shooting or anything like that.
