Definitive PS90 optic

by

If you EDC a PS90 SBR like me, you’re gonna need a solid optic. Sure, the Gen1, gen 2 and mc-10-80 Ringsights are cool, but if you think about it, the SLx 1X MicroPrism shares the same philosophy of use as the OG sights but not developed in the mid 80s. You also don’t have to spend your life savings to zero it. If you run an LPVO on your rifle, (shout out accupoint users) you will feel right at home with this on your subgun/PDW. Sure all these paid YouTube actors say it’s cool and nice but don’t take it from them. They were all given a free one. I paid for one with my own money and waited. Point is, this is a probably the best PS90 or PDW optic and I highly recommend it.

Solid optic

by

Awesome compact prism optic. As an owner of a gen 1, I can say this gen 2 is an improvement basically in every way. I personally didn't have a problem with the reticle size on the gen 1... but after using the gen 2 I don't think I can go back. New form factor is fantastic. Great, solid, SHTF optic. Looking forward to the 3x... and future iterations of this optic

Almost Perfect

by

These new microprisms are my new favorite 1x optic. You can tell it's overbuilt and durable, yet it's still small and compact. It's very easily daylight bright and the prismatic distortion is very minimal. For my 10.5" AR it's basically perfect, but I'd love to see them release a more premium version for my 16" AR with these changes:

GLx level glass
Optimistic 500 and 600 yard ranging dots (would be nice for 300BO rifles as well)
Factory QD mount option, although the regular mount is great.

This SLx is easily worth $300+, but I'd definitely pay $500+ for a GLx version with those changes.

Amazing

This optic is everything I wanted. It looks so sexy on my Zastava with the new RS regulate mount. Reticle and glass are crystal clear. My only complaint is that the diopter ring is almost impossible to move. Its extremely stiff, and its very hard to look through the optic and even take notice of adjustments because I'm strong arming the shit out of the ring. 9/10. Ordering the 3x as soon as it's available.

Works Great! Make sure to adjust the Diopter

by

Have this mounted on a AR-10 in .308 with a 16" Barrel for hunting in the swamps of Florida. Zeroed in 3 shots. Make sure to use the diopter to adjust the image through the Microprism so that it is the same size as the image through your non-firing eye. That's how you know that the optic is perfectly adjusted to you. Wish they would have said that in the manuals or videos.

Buy it quick!

I had one of the first gen Primary arms prism scopes. It was very good, but the reticle was just a little small for my eyes. When this one came out and I heard they made the reticle a little bigger, I figured I would give it a try. I have a few other Primary Arms scopes. This is a great scope, very clear glass and the reticle is bigger and can be picked up quickly. It is also smaller than the first gen and comes with all kinds of mounting options. I have tried it on three different rifles and it works great. First was a Marlin 336, then a CZ 527. Just to see if it could be mounted, it can. It will be staying on a 7.62x39mm AR. Works great. Keep up the great work guys!

Favorite new optic

by

I don't have red dots on any of my long guns. Primarily for the inability to run them without batteries, but also because of astigmatism. I am admittedly a fan boy of Primary Arms optics. I have 18 of them on various setups ranging from 2x, 2.5x, 3x, and 5x prisms, to 1-6x, 1-8x, and 4-14x. I received my first Cyclops about three weeks ago. I have ordered two more. The auto live function, the battery life, the etched reticle that can be seen without the battery, the night vision compatibility, the optical clarity, the mounting options, the light weight, the general beauty of the optic, and the price all combine to make the Cyclops approximately 1,000 times better than any red dot.

Armageddon optic

by

Destroys everything else in its class; Holoson, Trijicon and other dots, as well as Eotech’s holographics. Reticle is super fast, crisp glass, bright illumination when needed (plus NV settings). The etched reticle really tops it off, along with a ridiculous amount of eye relief, a generous eye box and wide field of view. Auto on/off for the illumination. Lots of mounting options with the included straight and cantilevered risers. This optic has you covered for anything inside 300 yards, no problem. Best thing you can get for anything you wouldn’t otherwise need an LPVO for.

one item on wishlist

It exceeded my expectations, and it feels like something that will be dependable for years to come. BUT, I'm only 99% satisfied because it leaves me wishing for just one more thing... the reticle would be better if it included BDC dots below the chevron, identical to the ACSS Holosun HS503G that Primary Arms also sells.

The setup I have always wanted

by

My wife purchased the Cyclops for my birthday and I have to say that it is perfect in every way. I have paired it with the primary arms Gen 4, 3x magnifier with standard height flip to side mount. Note: the magnifier states it is at 1.64” above the rail where the cyclops out of the box is at 1.55”. The difference is negligible and the cyclops out of the box lines up perfectly with the standard height flip to side mount on my example. It also is clear as clear can be. I have seen that prisms with magnifiers are tricky. These two went together with ease by adjusting the diopter on the cyclops first. I have an astigmatism to the degree that my optometrist begs me to go for lasik surgery every time I see him and red dots have all always sucked. I have an LPVO on another rifle but I think this plus the magnifier is my go to from now on. I haven’t seen too many examples like mine that describe in detail the setups. Hopefully this helps someone. Thanks Primary Arms for the awesome products.
