An Excellent Sight

by

Great 1x sight! Mounted it on an A1 carry-handle build and its a great option for that purpose given its small size and weight compared a picatinny-adaptor/red-dot arrangement. I think PA should stick with the larger reticle for their low-powered prism sights; I also own their GLx 2x prism and I much prefer shooting this 1x because I can see the reticle and target a lot better compared to the smaller reticle with magnification (even with the diopter properly adjusted). I'm excited to see how the 3x-version turns out; if they retain the larger reticle but include the "drop dots" and the super generous eye-box, I could see that optic replacing a lot of my others, such as their 2x prism.

Primary Arms: keep the larger reticle in your low-powered prisms, they're just better that way.

Almost perfect, but close enough

by

Love the new design, love the low weight. Comes with all sorts of mounting options. Reticle and glass are very clear and it is day light bright at the highest setting. I don't have NODS to test out the NV settings, but I assume they work well too.

My ONLY complaint is the fact that the adjustments on the turrets are in 1 MOA. Not end of the world, but half MOA would of been preferred.

I definitely suggest this as an amazing buy for the price.

Incredible

by

This can't be beat for its price point. It's like having an ACOG without costing an arm and leg. Have become my favorite optic. Get more than 1!

Selling all my red dots.

by

Why do I need dots when I can have ACSS? The glass is super clear. Reticle summer bright day bright. This is THE item to mount super high, mount it forward and crank up the NODS. OHH YYEAAHHHH!!!. I will end up with 10 or 15 of these. Waiting on the Green.

Best Budget Optic for Astigmatisms

by

Great Glass, Reticle is fantastic. Make sure to adjust the diopter to your eye and this thing is the most clear prism scope for under $500 that there is.
Eye relief is fantastic, super easy to pick up the reticle. Brightest setting is most certainly daytime bright. No issues looking through the glass even in the brightest conditions. Auto shut off- Ridiculous battery life. The list goes on. All this for only $250 is almost hard to believe. Mount is great. Keeps zero easily.
Only one complaint. 1 MOA clicks make it a little more difficult to zero and get perfectly accurate than most optics with half MOA clicks. Took me a little longer than most to get it zeroed. But this is an extremely small price to pay for an excellent optic

Perfect red dot replacement

by

I never write reviews. Received two of these over a month a ago & mounted one on my AK & one on my backup AR. Probably the easiest sighting I've ever done. Easy sight acquisition. Sharp reticle & much better than the Starburst I was seeing with my red dots. Also because it's a prism the glass is much clearer than red dot glass. Can't wait to run em & beat the hell out em. Once again a home run guys. Couldn't be happier

As good as they say

by

Pretty great optic. I feel it just made a lot of other optics in this price range obsolete. Only issue I had is mine came way out of zero. At 20 yards my hits were a solid 2-3 feet below the tip of the Chevron.

Took about 2 full rotations of the vertical moa adjustments to get about 2 moa groups at 50 yards with a 14.5in barrel.

Besides that, holds zero and is easier on my eyes.

Amazing Optical Clarity

by

I own several Trijicon Acogs and I can say with 100% certainty that I cannot tell the difference between this amazing optic and my Trijicons. Clear glass and the best reticle I have ever seen and used. It is 100% visible, clear, and larger than the gen 1, which is great. I am going to buy one for all my ARs.

Nice little optic for the price, but could use some improvements

by

Optic seems quality. It's a nice small package. However, the brightness adjustment knob is way too stiff and the brightness adjustment "clicks" are very mushy. It takes a lot of force to adjust the brightness, and can result in loosening the battery cap depending on which direction you turn the brightness knob.

One of the best prisms on the market

by

If you have issues with red dots and holographic sights being too blurry or producing the "starburst" effect, you should look into a 1x prism instead. I believe PA to be the best option in that market segment as of this writing. You get a reticle large enough to compare with e.g. circle-dot Holosuns (but crisper because it's etched), a very generous eyebox, battery life that's better than some red dots, and lots of mounting options (any compact ACOG mount works with the scope and the included risers!), all for a very sensible price.

And yes, it does mount to the AR carry handle. If you use the lowest cantilever riser, it'll position the optic right above the rear peep, with perfect eye relief.
