The first PA optic I'm disappointed with
by Dan -
I own several primary arms optics. Overall fit and finish, glass clarity, and reticle are good. Unfortunately I regularly see the illumination flicker under recoil while mounted on a 9mm PDW. To the point where it has been relegated to sitting on top of a plinking gun. Other PA products I use for duty use, this one doesn't make the cut sadly.
Thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. We are glad we were able to get the issue resolved.
Great Optic!!!

I purchased this sight for my wife’s Mossberg 500 as my wife has astigmatism and regular red dots looked like “tadpoles” to her. Honestly, I’ve never been able to hit the broad side of a barn with that Mossberg using slugs at any distance... until I mounted this sight! Boy Howdy! How things have changed. The etched reticle is a huge plus, with or without illumination.
This is my fourth PA sight and I’m very happy with all of them.
Great

comes with everything to set it up as you see fit.
put it on my shotgun in under 5 mins. great illumination
Nearsighted? Astigmatism? Buy this!
by Harold -
I’m both nearsighted and have astigmatism. While I love my Primary Arms red dots, they are too blurry to be used at long range for me. This prism sight changes everything. I get the quick acquisition of a red dot, but the reticle is super crisp after adjustment. Moreover, the prism lets me see targets clearly without my glasses. Given the shake-awake and good battery life, this is going on my home defense rifle. This is my favorite short-range optic
Excellence

Mounted to my SBR. Didn’t even have to zero it out of the box. Hit 29/30 steel at 125 yards. Had my Eotech EXPS3 on the 16” that same day. In my opinion, this optic was inches away from beating out the Eotech. I was in disbelief. Initially I thought the chevron would be too “busy” for simple sight picture, but I was very wrong. Couldn’t be happier with this optic.
Great optic, poor mount
by Noah -
The prism itself is fine.
The biggest downside to this prism is the included mounting options. They offer a ton of mounting heights, but for some baffling reason all but one of them (1.535") require a cantilever. Instead of including multiple straight risers with a single cantilever piece, there is one straight riser and 3 cantilevers. As a result, the ONLY WAY to use absolute (1.41") or lower-third co-witness (1.64") height is to use a cantilever. This means you can't also fit a magnifier on a typical flat top receiver with the prism. So unless your magnifier also happens to mount at 1.535" (the only height with a straight riser in this package), then you can't use it with this optic.
I'm really not sure why a cantilever mount is even needed with this prism. The eye relief is very good, which means you can mount it any where on an upper receiver, so no need to cantilever it really far backwards.
So much better than a red dot
by Rod in PA
Have both the 1X and 3X versions of these. The best feature being, no battery required! Optical clarity is outstanding. I also like the no-nonsense, analog illumination control. (unlike that on my CTS-1000 red dot, that seems like it takes forever to turn on, waiting on the electronic switch, which is yet another potential thing to fail) The height and placement adjusting risers that are included, is a huge plus, as they aren't required to purchase as an option. If there is any complaint to be had, I would say it is the lack of a Fast QD lever being able to be used with this sight.
Great optic with a few drawbacks
by Nicholas -
First off let’s get this out of the way I love the optic especially with my astigmatism it’s nice and clear when I see 3 dots with red dots I also love the acss cyclops reticle for 200 yards and in great up close and make shots to 500 and out of you do your part but it’s not optimal as the reticle is very small that said there are some improvements to be made the brightness knob is very very stiff and is super mushy meaning you can’t tell when you hit the settings and you can’t see the numbers on it easily ether also there is some shifting affect with your backup irons I had to dial my rear windage peep sight like 2/3 to the left to line up with the reticle and hit on zero while aiming through the lens and yes I zeroed them before putting on the optic and had to change it after also I feel like they should add an on/off button somewhere so you can turn it off and on without trying to use the basically unusable dial
over priced for what you get
by Matthew -
has focusing issues when shooting with two eyes open and I broke the bottom off, just by trying to unthread a screw, to take off a mount... 250 bones down the drain. At least the ARD worked.
