The Primary Arms Gen III 3X Compact Prism Scope with the improved ACSS-CQB-300BLK/7.62X39 reticle is the lightweight, do-everything scope you've been looking for. The low 3X magnification and bright illuminated reticle allow for fast, both-eyes-open shooting at close range, while the ACSS CQB reticle allows for easy hits on targets out to an impressive 600 yards with supersonic ammunition and 225 yards with subsonic. The Gen III scope has been equipped with the next generation ruggedized mounts to provide flexible mounting options with incredible clamping power.

The heart of the tough Gen III 3X Prism Scope is the improved ACSS-CQB 300BLK/7.62x39 reticle that combines ranging, wind leads, moving target leads, and ballistic drop compensation out to 600 yards. The outer horseshoe of the glass etched reticle is used for close quarters engagement, simply place the generous semi-circle on the target and run with it! Each side of the horseshoe also has the integrated ranging system. Place the bottom of the target on the bottom rung and range up. If you know your targets are roughly 18 inches wide, they can be ranged on the side Auto Range system, or directly on the BDC hold overs! Two dots on either side of the precision chevron offer a moving target lead moving with an average speed of 6.1 MPH. Each step of the BDC system includes a 5 MPH wind hold, drastically improving first hit probability at any range. As an added bonus, the glass etched reticle does not require batteries or illumination, but 11 brightness settings (including daylight bright) allow for fast acquisition in close quarters, or enhanced visibility in fading light, powered by a common CR2032 battery!

We’ve upgraded everything about the mount from materials and finish to the design to create a mount that will not just clamp securely to your rail, but stand up the rigors of real-world use. Integrated recoil lugs help lock your mount in place against the heaviest recoil while large diameter crossbolts give you significantly improved clamping power and will hold up to significant torque. The included riser is the perfect height for AR-15s and AR-10s, but can be easily removed for carry handle or AK use as well.

A truely awesome product

I've purchased two of these, the more I play with it, the more I love it. I have the 7.62 version on two of my AK47 variants, I am considering picking up a 5.56 version for my AR. The 3x magnification makes zeroing this sight, that much easier, the diopter adjustment for folks with less then 20/20 vision is a huge bonus. But the best feature of this sight, is the amount of information at a glance, making windage and distance adjustment clicks a thing of the past, if you really take the time to learn the reticle, this sight is the only one you will ever need.
Poor Mans ACOG

Like I say this is the poor mans ACOG and it works very well. I have 3 of these 3x SLX optics and they get the job done.

super well designed and amazing quality for such an aggressive price point. Came back and got the 5x Slx for my 223. Only wish I had done that to start with as the 5x works better for these old eyes that the 3x. Great service and a wealth of knowledge. couldn’t be happier with these guys. unsolicited help via social with the mounting height also helped
Realy nice scope

Clear glass, crisp recital.
Ordered mine on the first round of pre-orders.
1 very minor issue. the engraving on the turrets should be larger/bolder. its so small/fine its hard to read, that a couple times i adjusted the wrong directing just becasue i couldn't tell what direction the arrow was pointing. I'll end up doing a paint fill on the etching and should fix the problem.

What an amazing scope. Over a thousand rounds and it’s always dead on. The recticle is what sets this scope apart. Went to range today and everyone of us did our best shooting through this scope and we were using several high priced scopes.

I was able to get about a 3" group, good for my eyes, at 50 yards with a Palmetto State AK-103 using this scope.

Reticle review

I am not a professional shooter, officer, or anything like that. I am not the best shot among my group of friends. I do shoot a lot and am really liking this reticle for my AK. It is really easy to use and is crystal clear in the optic. It is worth well more than I paid for it. There are lots of "parts" to it without overcrowding the sight picture. The donut of death is fun to use and talk about, giving consistent hits and increasing my bragging rights. Buy it!

You can find nicer optics, you can find cheaper optics. But, I challenge you to show me something anywhere near this price range that is this good. Shy of spending 4 times this much, I can't get anything close to this quality. I can afford to buy one for each member of the family instead of going with ONE AACOG and still have money for some ammo left over.

Love this little scope. I put it on an AR platform 7.62x39 chambered little 7.5” pistol and it does a great job. Holds zero and easy to acquire target. Would buy another.
