This Primary Arms prism scope is part of the SLx optics line. SLx optics have built a reputation for innovation, reliability, and value. All SLx optics undergo rigorous field-testing during development to best serve you in any environment.

The Primary Arms Gen III 3X Compact Prism Scope with the improved ACSS-CQB-300BLK/7.62X39 reticle is the lightweight, do-everything scope you've been looking for. The low 3X magnification and bright illuminated reticle allow for fast, both-eyes-open shooting at close range, while the ACSS CQB reticle allows for easy hits on targets out to an impressive 600 yards with supersonic ammunition and 225 yards with subsonic. The Gen III scope has been equipped with the next generation ruggedized mounts to provide flexible mounting options with incredible clamping power.

Features:
  • New Ruggedized Mount provides exceptional clamping power
  • Includes AR-height riser
  • ACSS CQB 300 BLK/7.62x39 chevron reticle has BDC and ranging out to 600 yards with supersonic 7.62x39mm or 300 Blackout ammo and 225 yards with subsonic.
  • Fully illuminated reticle is visible even in bright daylight
  • Removable M1913 picatinny top rail for accessories or piggy-backed red dot sights
  • Generous 10.3mm exit pupil allows for a bright and forgiving eye box
  • 31.5ft field of view at 100 yards provides easier tracking of mobile targets
  • 2.7" - 3.0" of eye relief
  • 1/4 MOA turret clicks are tactile and audible for easy zeroing
  • Tough prism scope is waterproof, fog resistant, and shockproof
  • Durable Type II hardcoat anodized black finish
  • Compatible with standard carry handle mounts
  • Protected by a lifetime warranty

The heart of the tough Gen III 3X Prism Scope is the improved ACSS-CQB 300BLK/7.62x39 reticle that combines ranging, wind leads, moving target leads, and ballistic drop compensation out to 600 yards. The outer horseshoe of the glass etched reticle is used for close quarters engagement, simply place the generous semi-circle on the target and run with it! Each side of the horseshoe also has the integrated ranging system. Place the bottom of the target on the bottom rung and range up. If you know your targets are roughly 18 inches wide, they can be ranged on the side Auto Range system, or directly on the BDC hold overs! Two dots on either side of the precision chevron offer a moving target lead moving with an average speed of 6.1 MPH. Each step of the BDC system includes a 5 MPH wind hold, drastically improving first hit probability at any range. As an added bonus, the glass etched reticle does not require batteries or illumination, but 11 brightness settings (including daylight bright) allow for fast acquisition in close quarters, or enhanced visibility in fading light, powered by a common CR2032 battery!

The SLx 3X Gen III has even greater strength and flexibility than ever before with the next generation ruggedized mounting system. We’ve upgraded everything about the mount from materials and finish to the design to create a mount that will not just clamp securely to your rail, but stand up the rigors of real-world use. Integrated recoil lugs help lock your mount in place against the heaviest recoil while large diameter crossbolts give you significantly improved clamping power and will hold up to significant torque. The included riser is the perfect height for AR-15s and AR-10s, but can be easily removed for carry handle or AK use as well.

Most versatile optic I own!

by -

This thing has the right level of magnification, super clear glass, nice flip-up lens covers, and the BDC is perfect. On an AR in 7.62x39, I hit consistently in a 5" area at 300 yds. Considering the caliber and platform, that's not bad.
I like it so much that I own 2, and have recommended to friends who have bought it too.
Also, the cost is very accessible, especially as it doesn't require the addition of rings, nor does it require setting up a plumb to get the reticle perfectly square with the rifle.
I note that it comes with a small riser, and suggest buyers to remove it for good co-witness with back-up sights.

Great optic for my Zastava Zpap M-70

I asked some schizo on the internet if I should buy this and I did

I don't regret this decision.

Take your AK to the next level

This is an outstanding optic without the price that would require you sell a kidney to buy. Very happy with this optic, I very much compare it to the ACOG used in the military. I haven’t yet had the chance to put it to the test at 300 and beyond. But if your looking for an optic that’s not a red dot, and something you can reach out and touch a target without a high powered scope, look no further.

Never liked scopes

by -

I've always preferred iron sights to scopes on most everything except sniper type rifles.
This scope is the exception to that rule.
I liked it so much I ordered the. 308 version to try and if that goes well I'll be ordering 4 more.
I've been waiting decades for a scope like this to change my mind.
I've bought 2 of this type with plans to buy 4 more.
You won't regret this purchase.

Best scope I have ever had.

Should have bought one years ago

Love Everything About This Optic

This is the second PA Prism Scope I got in this exact arrangement. I have one on a 7.62x39 AR Pistol that I built with a 10.5” Bear Creek Arsenal Upper and a Palmetto State Armory lower that has a SBA Tactical adjustable Brace. I built the exact same pistol, but in 300 black out and put the same PA Prism Scope on it, because they are a perfect trio. You can acquire your targets fast and accurately and stay on target with that amazing reticle. If necessary you can turn on the illumination and it is really bright in any light. The 3x magnification makes it to where I do not have to where glasses in the field with my 50 year old eyes and I still have a great field of view. On top of all that no scope mount to buy and it is a great price. I think thats it, now I have to do a review for the prism scope I bought for my AR Pistol in .556/223.

If you have an AK, buy this scope!

Awesome scope! Just enough magnification (3X) and a large field of view. Reticle design is amazing. Bdc is dead nuts on. Holds zero with my AK side mounts. A real game changer for AK variants. I own 2 and am looking to buy another for a PTR-32 and one for my AR.

Great, rugged scope. Reticle is too small to take advantage of some options.

Bought this after doing a lot of research and mounted with a great RS Regulate 302M from PA. Put it on a free, crappy WASR and tripled its value! Very clear glass, quick target acquisition, 11 brightness settings, and the 3x was ideal. Mounted with proper eye relief, per instructions. My only complaint is that the reticle is way too small to take advantage of all the features, such as Auto Ranging. However, the BDC is pretty functional and I never expect to shoot targets at 600 yds with an AK. Put it in your cart!!!

Great product

Another excellent optic from PA. Getting CQB and longer distance capability is great. It is pretty heavy and adds noticeable weight to my rifle which is a fair tradeoff for the quality of build I think.
