Details

This AR-15 from Radical Firearms features the Primary Arms Exclusive free-float handguard. The PA exclusive handguard is machined from lightweight 6063-T6 aluminum, designed with M-LOK attachment slots, a full-length picatinny rail, and type III hardcoat anodized for toughness. Underneath the handguard, you’ll find a smooth cycling mid length gas system and durable barrel. Radical Firearms makes their 5.56 SOCOM rifles with SOCOM profile barrels which are known for their accuracy, heat dissipation, and ability to handle high volume shooting sessions. Radical Firearms makes this 16” SOCOM barrel from 4140 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel and uses a Melonite finish, so you can count on it, round after round. Both the upper and lower are made from forged 7075 T6 then type III anodized. For furniture, Radical uses the ergonomic yet weight saving Mission First Tactical Stock, as well as an MFT pistol grip.

Nice Gun at the Price

This is a starter AR for me. Shot 100 rounds had no hang ups or jams with 223s . With the Primary Arms MD-RBGII Classic Series Gen II Removable Microdot Red Dot Sight I had a 6inch grouping. I enjoyed shooting this rifle !!!!

This rifles spectacular!

Pick this rifle up on sale for literally as much as I bought my M&P 15-22 sport for. I was expecting your basic entry level rifle which you don’t get me wrong that’s what you’re getting but you’re getting a good quality gun also. This is not a junk gun. The gun shoots well it feels real good in hands out the box all you need is a side and a grip and you’re good to go. If you catch this gun on sale and you’re on the fence just do it you won’t regret it.

Pretty decent

Didn’t come with the ambi safety selector as advertised but seems like a great budget, mid-tier AR-15.
Handguard has sharp edges in the cutouts but not that bad.
And the magazine seems pretty fragile and dinky.
Bought it on sale for $450ish which is well worth that imo

New Radical Arms SOCOM

Glad I got it just under the wire before the price doubled. Excellent shooter, ready to mount any gizmos you want. With my Red Dot, hits inside a saucer dish at 100 yards. Who could ask for more.?

Best Budget Rifle

I’m very impressed with this rifle- took it to the range to zero my sights and a red dot and it operated flawlessly. Definitely it was a good buy!!
