Good alternative to expensive metal safeties

by

A good alternative to much pricier units. Cost is good for an all metal/aluminum safety. Very solid build, with a positive engagement in safe/fire modes. You can definitely feel this safety engage! Seekins quality throughout

Good quality

Can't go wrong with Seekins

Even More Seekins Bling

Combine the ambidextrous safety with the trigger guard and the mag release and it gives nice accents to the AR

Check your index before installing

by

Nice product, Seekins stuff is normally top shelf. The handles are installed upside down, and if you install as is, your trigger and safety will jamb up causing you to have to disassemble your trigger, to get the units unstuck!

Really Nice

by

Overall very happy with this product. Fit and Finish are excellent from SP. I needed to slightly clip the spring to make it smooth like butter. The only reason it received 4 starts is because I have the right side of the selector inverted to due uncomfortable rubbing against my trigger hand (right). Very cool looking installed.

Looks sharp ... and is

by

Put mine on yesterday, easy installation if you know what you are doing. It took me a couple minutes to figure out how to set it up the way I wanted with a 60deg throw and the short lever on the left, but still easy. The only gripe I have is that in the pictures the lever stippling appears not to have sharp points, but the "spine" of mine is a bit rough on the digits. Had I installed it with a 90deg throw the recoil impulse would probably make it bite me.Well engineered, looks good on my rifle, and does exactly what it is supposed to do.

Good selector but color is not 100% correct.

This is a very good solid selector switch. Only issue I had was the color. It isn't a flat or fire red. More like a red between red and pin . I sanded mine down and painted flat red tester paint on it. Looks great now.

Awesome safety selector

Seekins Ambi Safety

by

I have this safety on all my AR-4 platforms and my AR-10; they work great. To respond to a couple reviews above; this safety can be installed with a full 90 degree throw or a short 60 degree throw which will minimize or eliminate contact with your thumb or index finger.

Shaft of Ambi Safety To Large for Spike lower.

by -

I bought this to use on an AR pistol build I am doing on a Spikes Punisher lower. The shaft of the Ambi safety is too large to go through the holes in the Spikes lower. So I had to use the stock Spikes safety selector. Now I have a $38 selector I can't use.
