Spike's Tactical AR-15 Lower Parts Kit - No Trigger

The kit I received was missing the bolt catch roll pin. I contacted PA for a replacement and they instead sent me a trigger guard roll pin. I guess neither Spike's nor PA can find and identify such a rare and unusual part.

Well made and machined parts. Fir perfectly into my Aeroprecision lower. Better quality than I have seen before in lower priced kits. I give it four stars because of the finish. Kind of sloppy and spotty. The worst part was the magazine catch which is about the most visible. Noticeably streaky and splotchy. I may be a little fussy but I want my build to look good. I had to carefully work it with very fine sandpaper and wool to at least get it even looking. On the plus side I didn't even want the grip that came with it. I had already purchased a Magpul. I ended up liking the Spikes grip better and used it instead. Overall though I'm glad I bought this kit.

Quite impressed! Excellent lower parts kit, individually wrapped components (in groups) and greased. Quality is outstanding, all perfect fit and not abrasions or tool marks. All parts function flawlessly. The Grip is actually nice too as it has some spikes design work on it, ergonomics is nice as well.

Everything is nicer than I'm used to, even the roll pins, and mine included the billet mag release and the extra spring and detent. Grip is nothing fancy, but it's lightweight, so I'll probably use it for my future sub-5 lb challenge project. Excellent quality all around, and the takedown pins function very smoothly. I'll never get a budget LPK again!

Just put together a lower and the kit was missing the bolt plunger. Luckily I had 2 kits and the other had one.

To be honest I just expected another lower parts kit like all the others. I was first surprised by the grip which is actually the new Spike's logo grip not the mil-spec grip in the picture. The parts were packaged in separate bags and were all solid. They included a couple extra springs just in case. Everything installed in a Spike's lower nice and tight and felt great. You also get the Spike's billet mag release button too. I will definitely get another for the next build.

Easy InstallPurchased this for my first AR build. Very pleased with items which included extra detent springs (in case you fling one across the room). Easy to install (see youtube and online instructions). All items fit well (tight) in PSA lower with ALG ACT trigger. Will order this again for next build. Primary Arms has good serice and fast shipping. Will order from them again in the future.
