Solid Mount for AR style buffer tubes/ stocks
by RR
First off it is an form of alloy metal, but its definitely strong enough for the application. Threads and QD mounts are clean and machined well. You have two options when mounting the buffer tube into place. Does not have a standard endplate to keep it in place so you will need to do one of these to keep the buffer tube from moving around. No instructions with it, which I found weird. One is to drill a small hole through the bottom of the buffer tube and insert a tight slave pin through the bottom of the mount (mount is pre-drilled on the bottom) and into the buffer tube. The same way you would with a muzzle break. No need to weld if you used a tight pin.Second is use a castle nut and wedge it against the mount. Use Loctite thought so it does not work itself loose. Awesome adapter for the price!
Fits WASR 10/63
by tyler busby
Fit my WASR 10/63 with slight modification. I had to grind down the head of the forward tang screw because it was too wide. It was sticking up and blocking the slot that holds the carrier spring guide. After that, everything fit together just fine. I used a no name mil spec buffer tube and castle nut with a Magpul CTR stock. There was some slight wiggle after my first shooting session, so I applied some blue thread locker to all of the screws and it has stayed tight since. I didn't apply any thread locker to the castle nut, but it has stayed tight. The cheek weld is a little higher than the factory stock, but I can still easily use the iron sights or a Vortex Sparc mounted on a UTG Pro qd side rail.I purchased this directly from the manufacture's website, because it was out of stock here, but would have preferred Primary Arms because it is a few dollars cheaper and I love their customer service and prompt shipping.

I like this adapter as it will allow me to change out popular M-4 stocks at will--giving me the ability to interchange stocks between other weapons in my growing collection.

Strike Industries AK to AR Stock Adapter
by Duncan
In doing my first AK build I chose this mount to add an AR stock to my riffle. The mount is very sturdy and bolted right up to my Maadi. Very nice and clean easy to install with QD single point on either side of the mount... Added a Mil Spec buffer tube and locked it down with no expectations of failure.
AK to AR stock adapter
by Mitchell -
It installed easy enough in a wasr but the mounting screws wouldn’t seat deep enough in the rear trunion. This kept the recoil spring assembly from fitting in its groove not allowing the dust cover to be installed. Rather than modify my rear trunion I’ll just buy the Arsenal polymer fixed stock from AK Builder.
Impressive

This adapter is exactly what I was looking for. It is well machined and is heavier than expected. Fits all of mine but not the Vepr. The tension system on it is not well done but it works. Works well for QD mounts. The set screw to keep the tube from spinning is way to small to trust. Used thread locker and a castle nut. Best adapter I have ever found.
Fights tight

The adjustable spacers make the adapter fit in nice and tight, but once it all was together, my carrier spring wasn't sitting properly inside the receiver. The screw was too wide and I had to use an angle grinder to grind down the edges of the screw, this let it sit deep enough that my carrier spring can ride on top of said screw. I experienced this on my Riley Defense RAK-47, hope it helps. Still love the product though!
NORINCO MAK90 - It does not fit.

Was excited to make use of some old parts from my AR collection, unfortunately this was a waste of money. I have many Strike Industries products and they are great, this one missed the boat.
