The Strike Industries ARCH is an AR-15 charging handle machined from a 7075-T6 aluminum forging with a flat dark earth hardcoat anodized finish, featuring an extended latch for easier side manipulation, a polished operating surface, and a raised rear lip for gas and debris deflection.
The extended latch provides a larger grip area than a standard mil-spec latch, making it easier to manipulate the rifle from the side — including when running a full-size rifle scope where clearance to a standard latch is limited. The polished surface and ergonomic design deliver a smooth, reliable action through each charging cycle. The raised rear lip helps divert gas, oil, and dirt away from the shooter's face during firing. Aluminum construction is lighter than steel alternatives and reduces wear on aluminum upper receivers compared to steel charging handles. Flat dark earth anodized finish suits earth-tone AR-15 builds.

Not bad!

I'll be honest, I wouldn't have picked one up if it weren't on sale - but for the price, they aren't bad at all. Nice, solid engagement and smooth operation. The nice gold FDE goes well with other SI products.
Closer To Med gloss Burnt Bronze - NOT Magpul FDE

Completely serviceable CHG (and worth the money) but this is more a burnt bronze or a desert dirt (DDC), not FDE in any way. It has a definite higher gloss than FLAT dark earth... all their stuff does. Again, decent for the money gear, just nowhere near the color you're probably looking for. This is only good for 50 shades of FDE builds.

This is more bronze/coyote than it is FDE. If you're looking for something close to Magpul FDE this is not the item for you.
It's also likely one of the least comfortable handles to use I've ever had short of a GI charging handle.
The build quality is good though and it is still a step up over the plain old GI charging handle as far as ergonomics go.
Better Than Mil-Spec

Slapped this on my PSA 18" Stainless AR. Super cool color, definitely sturdier construction than mil-spec charging handles, Just overall makes my rifle look cooler. I like the extended latch but it will poke your belly if your rifle is slung and you're not wearing thick clothing or a plate carrier. Also, you can chamber a round using only one side of the Charging handle, so that's also a nice plus if you're in an awkward position. SI makes quality gear!
Works perfectly for what it is

This is my 3rd SI charging handle. Construction is excellent. Feels as solid as the first 2. Never had any bind, twist, bend or break. The color is NOT FDE. Very shiny gold/bronze. Theres nothing 'flat' about the anodizing. Color is the only demerit.

Doesn't completly match the MAGPUL FDE furniture on one of my build, but it has good quality.
Works great, just not Magpul FDE.

Works great. Well built from what I can tell, used this to replace my stock charging handle. Loses a star for not being FDE. It more resembles a burnt bronze color than a Magpul FDE. Not a huge issue but if you're a perfectionist then this isn't the FDE you're looking for.

I replaced my stock charging handle on my Colt 6920 with this one. What a nice upgrade over the stock one. The bigger latch makes it super easy to pull the bolt back. No the FDE color doesn't match exactly to the magpul FDE furniture but it is close enough for me, it still looks good.
