Meh

It is what it is... Strike industries! Certainly not the best. It looked decent on my AKV, folded both ways as it should but is a bit wobbly and by no means a solid feeling set-up. The QD on the back of the brace should be moved to the bar towards the front or at least on the side of the brace. The cheek riser felt really good and is a must if you want this set-up, but there are much better options on the market. I ended up loosing out on it and got rid of it for a JMAC AB-8R and tailhook.

Does the Job, just not that great

I had a Sig folding mech/buffer tube stock previously and I did not like because of the weight. I was leaning towards Jmac folding mechs, however, the price of it made me go with this SI Dual Folding Adapter.

The good things : It works. You can remove the stock with the press of the two buttons. Folds either side.

The things I don't like: The folding mech rattles. Rattles a lot. I would say it is because they were going with dual folding/complete removal which require some play with their design. The stock end is uncomfortable. It is not much wider than the stabilizer blade they also included. It didn't include the cheek riser (neither does Jmac). Didn't matter because the cheek riser sucks (another review)

I have this unit on my MKE AP-5K. Talk about a cool item, being able to fold left or right and quick detach Is amazing. As with all strike ind. Stuff the fit and finish is amazing. The price is amazing for the features and quality. This would be great for any pcc pistol, may get one for my nak-9

The brace/stock looks cool and that's about it. I like the idea of the dual folding mechanism, but it failed about 3 or 4 times (mechanish got stuck in the folded position and in the open position). Definitely overpriced for what you get. If you are serious about self defense, home defense and training I suggest you look elsewhere. The brace rattles a bit to much for my liking. The provided foam inserts to reduce rattling will cause the folding mechanism to fail. Strikes Industries products are gimmicks and not for the serious firearms enthusiast, MIL and LEO community. This is the first time I have ever had to return an item to PA.
