The Strike Industries Enhanced Ultimate Dust Cover is the world's first quick disconnect ejection port cover for the AR-308! Manufactured from high-density Nylon polymer, the UDC will never corrode, rust, fade, or deform. It features an internal True Seal lip to better protect your rifle from the elements. A built-in adjustable detent screw allows you to easily compensate for receiver wear, or increase/decrease opening power.
The spring-loaded internal detent rod provides easy installation and take down, often taking just 5-10 seconds! Features a cut-out window for easy installation or removal, without impacting the True-Seal capabilities!
NOTE: The SI UDC has been tested to fit Mega Arms MATEN, DPMS Oracle, SIG 716, YHM, and S&W upper receivers. While it is easily modified to fit other receivers with light sanding, the UDC is not guaranteed to fit all upper receivers.

doesn't fit PSA without a lot of grinding

I wasn't particularly surprised this didn't fit a PSA upper after having read the other reviews, but I gave it 3 stars more due to the somewhat flimsy construction. The spring mechanism shot apart the 2nd time I pulled it off the gun in order to do some more fitting. It went back together after I found all the parts, but it's just not designed great.
I was able to get it to basically function on the psa by sanding material off of either side and using a grinder dremel bit to reshape the rear edge of the door where it was rubbing against the shell deflector casting hump. I'll probably do some fine tuning at a later time to make it work more as it should.
I was thinking this would work better. I also had an Aero steel door and test fit that prior to installing the barrel, and it fit pretty well except the hinge pin was way too long. I should have modified the pin and gone with that.
Fits well on Aero M5

After reading the reviews I assumed I would be sanding this to fit my Aero M5 upper, but contrary to many of the reviews mine fit extremely well and only took a few minutes to install and looks and functions great. I'm very happy with the purchase, and the quick order processing and shipping from Primary Arms was great as well.

Fantastic dust cover (for my application), fits the JL Billet upper as though it was made for it! I made a bit of a mistake when installing the JP barrel nut and forgot to install a dust cover first (JP uses red loktite for install soooo yeah) thereby blocking the pin from installing, so luckily Strike came to my rescue with their quick connect/disconnect system. Very easy to install, really well made and works perfectly. I have a friend that installed the AR15 version on his custom build and he likes it too.
Pity to see this does not fit some applications per the reviews here, but when it works it is great!
A Poor Quality Product.

Product was defective out of the box. The spring was missing a leg that makes the dust cover pop open, and the latch pin did not engage the receiver so the dust cover wouldn't stay closed. Did appreciate the spring loaded pin that made installation a breeze.
Incompatible with DPMS compact hunter 308

Bought this for a DPMS compact hunter 308, and it does not come even CLOSE to fitting. I don't know if the DPMS upper requires a specific cover or what, but this one is a good CM too small and wouldn't fit properly.

This item did not fit my PA 10. It would take serious modification to make it fit.

Cannot get this to fit MK2 receiver set from PWS in spite of a lot of time sanding it down. Will be replacing with Black Rain Ordnance.

Would give this product a zero if it was available. I have three different brands of DPMS/SR25 type upper receivers. It won't fit any of them.

Wasn't aware that this was plastic. Not a huge deal just would've preferred metal. Probably just me not paying attention though. Most likely the second one. Still gonna use it. Solid product
Great Dust Cover

Remember if you have a billet Mega Maten or similar the process of installing this dust cover is lengthy unless you want to risk cutting the other dust cover out.
