Strike Industries Gridlok 416 Handguard Assembly features a modular, quick detach design to improve the versatility of HK 416/M27 IAR platforms. With the Gridlok 416 Handguard, you can have a secondary set-up option thanks to the patent-pending Quick Rail Detach GRIDLOK locking latch. With this new locking latch system, the Gridlok 416 handguard mounts in seconds using the HK OEM barrel nut for your mission-specific needs. The Lightspeed Version of this handguard comes with a front/rear only Picatinny rail. The main body of the Gridlok system is made from 6061-T6 aluminum with a black hardcoat anodized finish and measures 11 inches long. It features a slim, streamlined profile with a 1.57" internal diameter large enough for most blast diffusers, muzzle brakes, and suppressors. A rail tab located on the rear helps index into the HK upper receiver. The front rail segment features an integrated flip up back up iron sight that folds down out of the way when not needed. The handguard body features M-LOK slots located at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions for attaching accessories.
