The entire housing of a Timney trigger is lightweight aluminum, and the hammer is wire-EDM machined from S7 tool steel, while the remaining parts of the trigger system are EDM cut from A2 tool steel.

Great trigger

Great trigger for the money, easy install this is my third. I use them in my hunting ARs. Good clean pull and short reset.

I got one of these while they were on sale and I'm glad I did. Practically no take up, a crisp clean break, and the reset is extremely short. The install was easy and straight forward and I like that this trigger doesn't require anti-walk pins.

Long story short - Great trigger and great price. Primary Arms does a great job with customer service, so its a win, win, win situation!
Timney makes damn good triggers.
This one in particular, has a very slight take-up and the break is always crisp. I like how predictable it is and think its a great drop in for any AR when you want consistent results.
The straight bow is my preference for most weapons, so I'm glad they offer this option.

Was expecting a 5 star trigger but that is not what i received. The trigger pin was half way out of the fcg so the fcg wouldnt fit into the lower. I attempted to press it back in and it falls out the other side. Half the reason i put drop in triggers in my gun is for that exact reason... THEY DROP IN, I SHOULDNT HAVE TO BE DEALING WITH PUTTING MY OWN TRIGGER TOGETHER FOLDING SPRINGS AND ALIGNING PINS.

This is a MUST HAVE for any mil-spec AR in need of a clean feeling trigger. The take up and over travel are almost inconceivable, with a clean 3.25lb pull and audible break. This trigger for the price can't be beat! I had to buy 2 more!
