Never used one. Always used a bullet, nail or a punch/awl to make adjustments.Won't be marring the sight housing with marks and scratches.

Trying to adjust the Troy sights without this thing was a giant pain. I went ahead and bought the sight adjustment tool and it saved so much time getting my rifle to zero. Also likey saved me from scratching up my sights using any other method to twist the front sight post up and down. Only change I would make is to offer this in a bundle when purchasing Troy sights (which I bought from PA, couldn't find a better price)

This is the best AR front sight tool I've found yet. Other tools were either to short or didn't fit into the detents right, but the Troy works like it's supposed to.

Spend 230$ on sights then have to drop another 9$ on a sight adjustment tool? Works fine but just pissed you have to buy it.
