Dependable Sights
by Gun Guy
I own several Troy flip-up sights (front/rear) and have run them hard. They have held up for me after being dropped several times on desert mountain rocky terrain and generally beat on.
Totally Love Em'

I normally don't write reviews but should more as I depend on them myself when selecting items. I wrote this same review for the corresponding rear folding battle sight by Troy (SSIG-FBS-R0BT-00) I was torn a bit on placing back up sights on my first ever AR build in 5.56/.223 - Running a Sig Sauer MSR (1st time low end sight for first build but it's good for now. Planning on getting a PA SLx MD25 Gen II soon :) but decided to put the irons on as well all know anything that can go wrong will at some point. I definitely wanted aluminum/metal irons not Polymer (doesn't seem right to me LOL) When I got these from PA and put them on they co-witnessed w/my current riser and MSR perfectly and they are machined and built well - Can't wait to get them out and break them in sighting them up w/my new build - Totally happy w/purchase - I'll be installing these on a .308/7.62 build as well for sure!
GREAT SIGHT IF PAIRED PROPERLY
by Banyan
I love these sights been building and shooting AR's for over 20 years and these are by far the best back up sights on the market. That being said I have noticed a few other reviewers comment on how well this HK style sight paired with the Dioptic Aperture Rear sight they purchased... Pay attention and do research knowledge is power, the Dioptic rear sight is that shape for a reason and pairs with the M4 style front sight, the quick target acquisition is only quick if paired with the M4 straight style front sight the rounded style of the HK style negates the purpose of the dioptic sight altogether. So if you own your AR for functional purposes this pairing is a poor choice.
Why all 4 & 5 star reviews?
by Richard -
Maybe I got a lemon during covid manufacturing. When locked it rocks up and down 5mm and side to side almost 2mm; and it’s new. Maybe it’s jewelry for everyone else but I’m not adding red dot so disappointed. Should have waited for GG&G to restock. Nothing in my safe has this much slop. Have a few fixed rear Troy sights and they are a good value. Recommend you bypass this $89 folder and get something nice for $20 more.
Perfect

I seriously love the HK style over anything else. Overall love these! Will by these for the next rifle. 25inlbs and good to go.
Best BUIS
by Todd C
Fantastic BUIS. I now run these on all my builds. When on sale, it's a killer deal on some killer sights. Highly recommend. Don't skimp on the sights.

HK Style front sight
by Will
So far so good. I just installed it on my AR15. Works well with my Troy DOA rear sight. Took seconds to install and adjusted easily with the Troy adjustment tool.
