Troy has great products for a good price. This is very nice with 3 positions and comes with a QD swivel as well. Not bad for $40, PA shipped fast as well.

This sling mount looks awsome on my rifle fits perfectly with no play any were. The only problem was when you finally get the tube screwed into its final position, its impossible to get the spring behind the end plate without twisting it and ruining the spring. There is no room between the sling side wings and the end of the receiver

The troy sling mount is honestly awesome... It's at the perfect angle, it's super light weight, very tough, and matches the color of the receiver.Downside: Being ambidextrous, it has the knobs on both sides. This sits in line with the castle nut... Which means you have very little room for your wrench. And with what room you do have, it sits cock-eyed. Basically, it's hard to tighten. But doable. Worth the trouble IMO. Much better than Magpuls ambi sling mount (which is noisy as hell).

The Troy OEM sling mount works great and, for me, locates the QD swivel in the best location. I prefer QD swivels for my rifle slings. This mount puts the rear of my sling in a sturdy, out-of-the-way location. It also looks like and integral part of the lower receiver. Have one on each of my black rifles.
