Note: For AKs that originally used gas tubes that have holes in them, such as the Chinese MAK-90. Will be slightly shorter than original gas tube, this is normal and will not effect function.
Fits:
- AK Variants with standard weight barrel and standard removable gas tube (roughly 7" in length, will vary slightly between rifles).
- With separate barrel shims, will fit 5.45x39 and 5.56 NATO caliber AKs. Minor fitment may be required.

This heavy duty mount replaces the original steel gas tube and upper handguard, so it adds less than one ounce to the weight of the rifle, making it by far the lightest optic mount installation for the Kalashnikov. The forward positioning of the optic gives you faster, easier and more natural targeting while maintaining your full field of view. Multiple target or moving target engagements, with both eyes open, become second nature. The mount rarely if ever needs to be removed to clean the rifle, so you need not worry about loss of zero. Since the mount is clamped to the barrel and not jammed in between the gas block and the sight block like the original gas tube, several UltiMAK users have reported an improvement in their AK's accuracy.

Decided to make the drive to meet some PA guys in person and just like online, I enjoyed great friendly service. The Ultimak is a great addition, a rock solid mount, can highly recommend it and Primary Arms
Had to buy polymer lower handguard

May not fit a stock Century Arms C39V2 but then again such an install is like putting a Cadillac hood ornament on a rusty Rambler Ambassador......Century Products are built to such ill thought specs that its a wonder anything fits on their "made in America" AK's. The Ultimak is a GREAT product.........good thing Century still offers some Romanian imports. Oh, and the tube with the vents sure help with the always overgassed operating system that the AK is known for whether you are replacing a ported gas tube or a non ported, the ported one works GREAT!
Best rail for a red dot on an AK.

My M2B I mounted on a C39V2 was great, and took the heat like a champ. It outlasted the rifle. I still have the UltimAK, and will mount it on my next AK.

Can’t beat this for putting a sturdy Picatinny rail on your AK. The obvious second thing is adding your favorite optic. It’s ingenious and perfect. Also doesn’t change my cheek weld. 5 solid stars.
Fun install, holds TIGHT, adjustable to make level/straight.

READ DIRECTIONS THROUGH so you don't get stuck like I did. Forend locking lever got stuck because I didn't read the next (had to pull out the ultimak tube, then lock the forend, then put the tube back in). You put the tube in first to get the two barrel mounts fitted before reinstalling the forend. Overall, took me about 30 mins. No sanding or grinding of my magpul forend to make it fit (supposedly wood furniture may require some filing/sanding). I installed on a PSAK GF3 with magpul furniture and it fit like a glove. The tube is shorter than your factory tube and there is a reason, so don't be alarmed. Read the directions. This tube is mounted to the barrel and mitigates the need to use the tube locker on the rear sight block. Make sure your bolt goes back in smoothly before tightening everything. Its two sturdy straps and four screws so you can loosen/tighten different screws to find your alignment.

I haven’t had a chance to check zero yet, however it appears as advertised. It’s solid and my Vortex fits nice and snug. Full review will be coming soon on my channel!
