WeaponTech AK47 Enhanced Bolt Hold Open Follower - 3 Pack

I bought six of these(two packs) and installed them in metal and plastic Tapco magazines. Everyone of them held the bolt open after the last round. I also made my own safety lever that holds the bolt back, you can watch this on YouTube. Together they solve the major problem with a AK47, now I can tell when the last round is fired and lock the bolt back for a reload. This WeaponTech Bolt Hold Open Follower works by simply replacing the follower in any AK Magazine. Takes about one minute to swap out the standard follower. Very affordable and it works.

I bought two packs, (6 BHO Followers) and installed them in Chinese, Bulgarian Circle 10, Romanian, and Tapco mags and went to the range....Zero issues. These locked the bolt open each time without fail and I see no signs of wear on follower. As noted by the Moderator before, the follower is plastic, but the part the bolt catches on is metal. It works and now the vast majority of my mags are BHO just like my Yugo BHO mags. Wish they'd come out with these sooner!

I had a Romanian 40 rd mag, that I could not get the follower to return to the top for some reason. I replaced it with WeaponTech Enhanced follower and it works perfect now, saved the magazine.

I have been primarily buying Yugoslavian magazines because of their BHO ability. I can now with your product make any of my magazines BHO enhanced. I use both packages on 30 round, 20 round and 10 round magazines. The BHO enhancement makes for a much safer weapon and it is nice to know when you gun is jammed as opposed to out of ammunition.

I have many Tapco mags and would love if they had the bolt hold open feature... well now they do! These bho followers are working great. I plan to buy a bunch more for all my AK mags. I have several surplus steel mags that I havent range tested yet. If they dont work with the bho followers I will let you know

I ordered a batch of these to upgrade some AK mags and had them installed in five minutes. They work well in both polymer and metal mags. No more spending extra money to find Yugo mags. Great idea and I will be buying more!

I purchased a bunch of nice Yugoslavian surplus 30-round magazines just so I could have the bolt hold open feature on my Arsenal SAM7SF. Sadly the Yugo magazines would not lock up with my milled receiver SAM7SF. I put one in a promag, one in a metal foreign mag, and one in a tapco mag, and they all work perfect. I'll definitely be ordering more of these.
