not really low profile

this doesn't fit under a midwest industries handguard. the bottom is too large, and the screws protrude too far to the side. I had to machine it down almost to the threads, and cut the screw heads down at a 45 degree angle to get it to fit. I can't see how anyone would get this to work with low profile handguards without it touching.
Perfect solution for a frustrating problem

I put this on a Rosco 13.7 barrel. For whatever reason, the barrel widens slightly before the gas journal. Installing a set screw gas block would require some excessive bashing with a mallet to get it it seated correctly, but this clamp on installed without issue.

I wanted to try out a clamping style gas block so I ordered this one. Today, 7-22-21, I received the gas block but it's not clamping style. The packing slip and the YHM package it came in have the correct part number (YHM-9384) but the part is incorrect. I received a 2-set screw gas block. Bummer.
Zero leaks

Great clamp on gas block had a problem after barrel upgrade this gas block seals really good. AR cycles just like it should.
Caution when using this gas block - Disappointed with YHM

I have used several of these and for most part are great gas blocks. However YHM must be using cheap screws because while taking one of a rifle the head of the screw stripped really bad as if it were extremely cheap (China quality). I probably now have to cut off the gas block and extremely disappointed with YHM!
