It has a USGI 5.56 NATO chrome lined bore and chamber for ultimate reliability. The upper and lower receivers are constructed from hammer-forged mil-spec 7075-T6 aluminum with a type III hard coat for maximum corrosion resistance. The mid-length gas system combined with a mil-spec 158 carpenter steel bolt carrier provides optimal performance and reliability in all conditions. BCMGUNFIGHTER upgrades include a KMR Alpha handguard, charging handle, compensator, buttstock, pistol grip, Q.D. end plate, PNT trigger, and trigger guard.
