Meh.
by Hefe
PA shipped very fast as usual. However,my bcg needed to be restaked and the gas key bolts weren't even tight when it arrived. I sent it back for repairs, got it back quickly from the coating company. It has ran well but has about 2000 rounds through it and already needs new gas rings. Decent bcg if you're on budget, but I'd eat ramen for a few weeks to save up the money and get something better.

Fail a lot

Not impressed, IMO it is what is making my AR unreliable. I'm going to swap out with a DD BCG to validate. I was also contacted about a recall because of the timing of when I bought, not a warm-fuzzy they are spitting out a product with such low QC that a recall on gas key staking has to go out. I was enticed with the gucci coating and description but your probably better off getting an entry level 'regular' BCG as far as reliable operation goes.
Buy it!

If you had told me that cleaning my BCG completely would consist of wiping it with a dry shop rag, I would have laughed at you. Now I know it's true! Carbon, copper, whatever is on that BCG is just going to wipe right off. I thought this part was just bragging rights for cool kids or operators who operate, but nope - this stuff is the ticket even for medium speed medium drag guys too. Stop thinking and buy this!
A OK

Dropped in a 10.5" Ghost upper - 300 Blackout. Shot 500 rounds suppressed. Carbon wiped right off the BCG. No failures, no issues. I would buy this brand again in a heartbeat.
Nice BCG at great price

Picked up a Fail Zero Nickel Boron BCC while on sale for $119.00. Coating is perfect and gas key tight: bolts properly staked. Ordered Saturday & arrived Monday. Can't beat Primary Arms.
Do Not Buy!!!

Bought one of these on a Black Friday 2018 deal. This thing is a complete POS. I dropped it into a high end Seekins build and pulled it right back out when I had to use the forward assist just to get it into battery...every time. I'm not talking tapping the FA, I'm talking pounding it every time. Replaced it with a Lantac e-bcg and it is now smooth as butter. Will never buy another one of these pieces of crap ever again. Do yourself a huge favor and steer way clear of these things. I don't care what the coating is if it won't even seat properly.
DO NOT PURCHASE

Heard poor things about this BCG but for some reason bought it anyways. The company is known for using cheap parts, such as YFS fasteners with horrible staking instead of grade 8 torx. Mine failed on me after about 50 rounds, the bolt locked to the rear, inserted a fresh magazine, hit the bolt release, and the round went off. Very unsafe failure and I even caught it on camera, sent the video to FailZero with no response. Use at your own discretion.
Solid, Slick, and well built

Installed with a WMD trigger and aftermarket springs. The BCG is top quality. I've read other poor reviews, but it must have been a QD issue as my bolt was gorgeous with the logo laser cut into the bolt. I love the nickel boron coating. The first thing I did was clean the gun and lightly lube the bolt carrier. It is VERY slick, even before any lubrication. It almost slipped out of my Nitrile gloved hands. I inspected every aspect of bolt carrier, extractor, etc down to the firing pin. The key was perfectly staked on what seemed like quality fasteners as the staking left no marks on the fasteners themselves meaning that they were very hard. If I run into problems, I'll update, but I don't expect it. My AR is functioning like a mechanical marvel.
Ahhh shiney

Wow no dissatisfaction here! Quality part looks great! Right away you can see the quality in the finish not a single blemish and a mirror finish. Just dropped right in my M4e1 enhanced upper and performed as good as it looks 50 rds in not one malfunction and you dont gotta soak it with oil. Wipes clean with minimal effort. Couldnt be more pleased and thanks for the free PA camo hat😁
