Primary Arms and Holosun have combined forces to bring you the power of the patent pending ACSS® CQB reticle in a red dot sight for the first time! The problem with dot sights is that a large dot is great up close but less useful at distances beyond 100 yards, because the dot becomes too large to aim with precision. A small dot used in conjunction with a magnifier fixes that problem, but is slower to acquire in close range snap shooting. The ACSS reticle uses a large chevron that the eye picks up very easily for up close shooting. At longer distances, the tip of the chevron is an infinitely small aiming point perfect for taking precise shots.
Using "zero" ranges of 25, 50, or 100 yards, the ACSS BDC is compatible with the following calibers:
- 5.56 NATO / 5.45x39 from 100 to 600 yards
- 300 BLK / 7.62x39 from 50 to 450 yards
- 12 gauge 1 oz. slug from 25 to 150 yards
- 7.62x54R from 100 to 600 yards
- 7.62 NATO / .308 Win from 100 to 600 yards
- 300 BLK 220 gr subsonic from 50 to 150 yards
- .22LR 40 gr from 50 to 175 yards
- 9mm carbine 115gr from 25 to 200 yards
The ACSS features three BDC dots underneath the chevron, allowing an unprecedented 600 yards of bullet drop compensation in 7.62 NATO or 5.56 NATO calibers. Auto ranging and wind leads are also incorporated into this smart reticle. A CQB horseshoe grabs the eye instantly for close quarters shooting and also approximates the spread pattern of 00 buckshot at 25 yards. The reticle for this sight is a central 2 MOA dot, centered in a 65 MOA circle with four positioning points. The diameter of the circle reticle represents approximately 5'5" at 100 yards 170cm at 100m.
The HS503G is a proven micro dot sight with an auto-on function that switches on the power with a slight movement of the sight. It comes with a 1913 Picatinny base which is removable, revealing an Aimpoint Micro-compatible base underneath. It also comes with the lower 1/3rd co-witness riser mount shown in the photos.

Best bang for your buck

The ACSS reticle in my opinion is superior to the standard red dot, The ranging capabilities mixed with the QCB in this package at the price point, Company this red dot with a x3 magnifier and it is hard to beat.

This has my two favorite red dot/scope manufacturers combined into one. I like the BDC and the quick reflex ring. This is a red dot pretty specifically designed for longer distance and does need to be accompanied by a magnifier in my opinion.
First Impression EXCELLENT!

I just received my HS503G ACSS today and mounted it on my S&W M&P 15 Sport II. First impression is that the fit and finish are excellent. The reticle is sharp and clear and the glass is very clear. I have astigmatism but shoot with my prescription glasses and the reticle couldn't be clearer to me. My AR has the F type front sight base and Magpul MBUS rear sight and the HS503G provides me with a perfect 1/3 lower co-witness (which is what I wanted). When I pop up the rear sight and use the metal sights I have a perfect co-witness. Thus red dot is solid and beautiful. Again, this is just first impressions. Once I get it to the range, I'll update my comments.

I’ve had this optic for a few months now and I was decently pleased with it, until I got a magnifier. It’s completely changed this optic for me. This is so perfect under magnification that I had to come back and write a review for it. If you’re considering buying this do it, and put a magnifier behind it.

Fast and easy targeting (if you practice)

I was not to sure about this acss cqb sight, but I watched the youtube videos and read reviews.
Alone it makes a great red dot sight, just what I was looking for. The chevron is small and good enough for 50-100 yds, (I just use it like a red dot and dont pay no mind to the dots uner the chevron) now you do need a magnifier to go further out. I attatched my magnifeier and was happy with the results.
This red dot sight is mounted on my Ruger
SR-762. I sighted in at 50 yds tip of the chevron with magnifier, I let a first time shooter blow up a small 3in.x3in. 1/2lb of tannerite at 65 yds, he nailed it on the second shot. So if that guy can get on target, the sight did its job.
As for me i enjoy tacking targets 50, 100-200 yds with this sight. Thank you for the recommendation Primary Arms.

My First optic in the micro sized

First optic in the micro sized I had purchased, recently put together a 45 Acp upper - AR-45, along with the 3X PA Magnafier, seems to be a great tool
Although, the caliber wasn't listed, that did not determine whether not to buy, perfect for my intentions.
I like the Acss reticle, own 3 other optics with the ACSS. Will still continue to buy, will be buying a few more of these optics
Great optic for the price

Great value with some extras that are nice. I've read where a lot of people don't like the BDC because it's useless at 1 power, and it basically is. But this reticle shines when used with a magnifier! I can also verify that using 5.56 the 200 yard BDC is accurate (I don't have access to a longer range).
The housing is a little thick and mildly obtrusive but not a major issue from my perspective.
