The magazine design includes a one-piece, wrap-around, steel feed lip assembly and an aggressive surface texture to create the ultimate hybrid magazine.The constant curve internal geometry of the Advanced Warfighter Magazine utilizes an anti-tilt follower for reliable feeding of .223 Rem/5.56 NATO ammunition. The body and component materials are corrosion and chemical resistant, passing military chemical testing.NOTE: The L5AWM is compatible with modern weapon systems, including M4/M16/AR, SCAR16, HK416, ARX160, and SIG MCX.Features:

I have a variety of AR-15 Metallic and Composite/Polymer magazines. All will function if mags & rifle are properly maintained. MagPul Pmag's represented the best overall reliability and value for me.
Until I tried the Lancer L5AWM AR-15 30 rd magazines.
Tool steel feed lips & mag catch securely molded into a strong, lightweight polymer body. Followers & springs designed to eliminate binding and provide consistent tension throughout extents of travel. Better ergonomics when loading, unloading, disassembly/maintenance. Positive insertion, solid lockup, and drop free extraction, whether empty or fully loaded. Doesn't blow apart or spit out rounds when dropped on concrete. PMags usually do.
Strong and well-built, L5AWM 30 rd weighs less than any of my others. I'm confident they will outlast any others. Well worth the price.
