All major components of the Larue MBT-2S AR-15 trigger are constructed from S7 Tool Steel through precision machining. The result is a trigger that features a glass-smooth, extra-consistent function, while maintaining the rugged durability required for battlefield use. The MBT-2S trigger features a crisp break at 4.5 pounds (2.5-pound first stage, 2-pound second stage) and features a smooth and positive reset.

About as good as it gets

I only own 5 of these. For the money, (and quite possibly otherwise), the MBT-2S is about the best two-stage trigger you can get. And now Primary Arms has them in stock! They're like potato chips, though - you can't just by one. Once you add one to that first gun, you're lost, and you won't stop until they all wear them. Excellent, excellent product.

Comparable to the Big Name

I installed these in 4 builds. I was very impressed. I couldn’t tell the difference between this and the other big name that costs over twice as much. I love mine. Great value. Great trigger.
Built better than the rest!

I've got a few of these triggers. They are top quality and make all the difference for accuracy. I run these on my close up guns, and use the G SSA-e on my long range guns. The G brand is not better, but is a pound lighter. I like the Larue for self defence @4lb. And the Geissele for target @3lb. They are both used in Aero lowers.

I own a Gazelle and even a Rising Smelly arms, this personally for the price point is bonafide top tier!!! The reset is pronounce, i went with the prescribed spring not the heavy one. The 2 stage is effective…. I’m no marksman…. But damn the results gave me a good ole woody with the results. Absolutely will be getting another for my 6mm arc build and moving my Gazelle to my lesser used tool.
Best Bang For Your Buck

The long short of this review is it is 95% of its more expensive competition for less than half the price. At the time of review I have just under 1k rounds through this trigger. The break is incredibly crisp and consistent. The take up or first stage is fairly clean with only a tiny bit of grit. This very very slight grit is the only difference I have noticed between itself and far more expensive counterparts. For the money you really can’t beat this trigger. I will be putting this in all my new builds.

I have 4 of these in a mix of flat and curved. Hands down the best trigger for the money. I throw one on every new build. I don’t see any reason to run anything else.
