The LaRue Tactical MBT-2S trigger for the AR-15 easily replaces your boring MIL-SPEC trigger with a precision machined masterpiece built right here in Texas. Unlike the competition, the MBT-2S two stage trigger has been cut from premium S7 tool steel offering incredible consistency with a glass-smooth break you can depend on. The MBT-2S features a 2.5 lb first stage take up with a crisp 2 lb second stage break straight out of the package, but includes a heavy trigger spring to push the total pull up to 6 lbs for duty use. Push your accuracy to the next level with the LaRue Tactical MBT-2S trigger with flat bow for the AR-15/M16.
Note: This trigger is only compatible with small pin lower receivers with MIL-SPEC .154" trigger pins.

Probably the best 2 stage trigger. LaRue has been raising their prices on some of their products lately, but at the 115 dollar price on this just shows how price gougy the industry is. Even the packaging looks way more expensive than the plastic bag that the 259 dollar Giesselle trigger comes in.

Good trigger, great value

This trigger is not as good as a Geissele SSA-E, it’s just not. It is however, very good. I’d say it’s about 80% as good as the Geissele for roughly 30% the cost. If you want a really good fighting rifle trigger, get this; if you want a super precise DMR trigger, get the Geissele.

These triggers are the best value for a "duty grade" trigger. I typically prefer curved bows, but I actually really didn't like the Larue curved bow. For some reason the take up and break felt strange but this straight bow is much better. I have used G triggers exclusively for years (some I paid full price and some were sales) and the Larue is the better buy for the dollar. The feel on the G is ever so slightly better on the reset and it is noticeable from a bench but you will never feel that difference otherwise.

I thought I was a single stage guy but I was wrong. The best way to describe the trigger is light but intentional.
I am very happy with my purchase and will be ordering more.

Phenomenal trigger. Recently ran a 40 hour rifle course with one and performed great. Rained on day one and day two it was muddy. Involved intentional malfunction drills in which I had to mortar on two occasions and this trigger never disappointed. I run the heavier 6 lb spring since anything lighter is too light for me personally. Very consistent take up, break, and reset. There is not a better trigger at this price point. Hopefully no one else likes it so prices stay down, so don't buy one, thanks.
Feels great but doesn't look great

I had the impression the inside of the trigger was cut out like i have seen on YouTube but this is not the case if you want asteically please this ain't it functions as it should great great trigger and great reset

The MBT-2S strait bow two stage trigger is as good as it gets imo,it's as good as the other ones that you are paying a name for and they are made right here in central Texas. It's a win win. If you want a great two stage trigger at a great price, this ones for you.
