The Magpul AFG-2 is a slimmer version of the original Angled Fore Grip. With a reduced overall length and width, the AFG-2 is compatible with a broader range of railed handguards and works more effectively with rail covers and accessories. Designed for use with 1913 Picatinny rails, this Magpul Angled Grip provides a stable, ergonomic grip that reduces fatigue and improves overall weapon control. By positioning your hand higher along the bore’s centerline, it helps manage recoil and enhances accuracy, enabling faster and more precise follow-up shots. Proudly made in the USA.

This is an excellent alternative if you live in a communist state, like me. (California) I ran a vertical grip in and out of the military since day one, however, I can't currently to stay compliant. I typically run a size medium glove and the afg2 makes a huge difference and feels great! If it doesn't, revisit the fundamentals.

I decided to take a chance since it is close to what I spend on a single outing to shake shack. Since this thing was sold out everywhere I decided to give this a try and get it. I wear a size large glove and tbh this thing barely fits my hand. A2 grip style was uncomfortable. The alternate didn't help. Ergonomically, it really doesnt feel like a hold I would be able to comfortably hold. Additionally, the grip feels less secure with this rather than with the bare rail. I might try a finger stop to see if it works for me but at this point, the bare rail its actuaclly a better hold for me.

More comfortable than a vertical grip, easy to install and can take a lot of abuse. Another great product from Magpul.
