Best stock under $60

Got mine on sale when they were $49.99. Things built like a tank. Has the friction lock which is why I bought it. It's less wobbly than an A2 stock even without the friction lock engaged, and with it on there is zero wobble. Almost feels like a fixed stock. Another great feature is it has replaceable rubber butt pads in various thicknesses to fine tune your LOP or just reduce felt recoil.

I had changed my buffer tube to a mil spec version and needed a mil-speck stock. I upgraded to the CTR. Perfect fit and with the tension lever to clamp it down, it is tight as can be. No wobble. I also put Magpul's best extended buttstock recoil pad on it. Excellent.

I had the cheap M4 style stock....a while ago went to the CTR stock and won't go back to the loose/wobbly kind again. Now all the collapsible stocks are going to be Magpul....Magpul just gets it right. Even the dedicated .22 AR will get an MOE stock (quite nice in it's own right). And, of course Primary got it here before I even had time to check the tracking number. For purchases...I generally go to Primary Arms first...the prices are always competitive, the stuff is actually in stock (OK, except for the PA red dots...but that's out of their control...and they are WELL worth waiting for), and the shipping is fast.

I had to specifically get the CTR for my AK build as I heard that the latching system was perfect for removing all rattle and wiggle/play when used on a VLTOR mounting tube... They weren't kidding!My god, no one had them in stock but primary arms did and at a great price. Perfect timing guys, you helped me finish up my dream SGL build!
