Magpul Horrible Customer Service

The 1 star is not in response to the product itself but rather the company and how it deals with its customers. I was disassembling the product so that I could Cerakote it and in the process lost the small spring that pushes the pin up that locks the stock in various positions. I contacted the company with the problem and asked if I could buy a spring from them. They said that I couldnt since they dont sell this part. That makes reasonable sense, so I asked for the dimensions of it so that I could find a suitable replacement. They said that they did not give out that information. Haha, really? Those simple dimensions are a trade secret or something? I am guessing it is a lazy customer service rep that does not want to look for that information or measure it himself. I feel that with most customer service minded companies, this issue would have been resolved with simply dropping a spring in an envelop and being done with it. It would maybe cost them 50 cents.

The friction lock on this thing works great. Once you get the length you want just slap on that friction lock and it doesn't move at all, feels like a fixed stock.Hard to beat Primary Arm's price when you combine that with the free shipping.

The Magpul CTR Carbine stock is working out great. The butt pad is a bit thin and even after the friction lock is engaged, there's a tiny bit of wobble.But overall, I'm really enjoying its aesthetics just as much as its functionality.
Magpul CTR Stock: Solid Performer

The Magpul CTR is a good general purpose rifle stock. The extra lock provides good rigidity. And Magpul quality is quite good for this sort of component. I have several CTRs and have had good service from all. They are a go-to product for me.
Excellent Collapsible Stock

The Magpul CTR is a great collapsible stock. Unlike other collapsible stocks, when the friction lock system is engaged, there is almost zero play in the stock, giving you a stable platform to shoot from whether fully collapsed, fully extended or anywhere in between. I highly recommend it.
