The Magpul Enhanced Rubber Buttpad is a 0.70" thick replacement pad designed for use with CTR and MOE MIL-SPEC AR-15 Carbine stocks, as well as STR, ACS-L, ACS, and the original Magpul UBR. The .70" Enhanced Rubber Buttpad improves recoil absorption and provides a more stable shoulder interface with a vented, high-friction rubber surface, allowing shooters to make more consistent follow up shots. The thicker profile contributes to increased comfort during sustained periods of shooting. This pad mounts directly using existing hardware and is also compatible with commercial-spec MOE and CTR stocks, though it may limit full collapse due to extension geometry. Made in the USA.

Does NOT fit on Ruger SFAR

This item does NOT fit onto the MOE SL stock on the Ruger SFAR. The holes don't line up. Unfortunately I don't have any other stock to put it on.
Does NOT work with all MOE Stocks!!

The listing says, quote, "replacement for Magpul MIL-SPEC CTR and MOE stocks". This is unfortunately not true! I was excited for this but my MOE fixed stock uses an extremely similar but different butt pad. Bought both from Primary Arms just last week (so it's not an old revision, etc). The hole spacing for the two bolts are off probably 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch, and the perimeter shape is different. Just fundamentally won't work. Not for any reason, however. These two parts COULD have been designed to work. The engineering team at Magpul didn't think this one through. Why would the butt pad on the fixed stock have a different hole placement? There is nothing interfering, it doesn't gain anything, only makes the extended butt pad not usable. I would understand if the fixed stock had a much larger area, or very different curvature, etc. Nope. They are almost identical, just unique. And of course, Magpul doesn't offer an extended butt pad for the fixed version.

This adds a needed .5" to my stock pull. Stock is .25" this one is .70" which about a 1/2" Not much else to say except don't buy this in hopes of felt recoil reduction, that's not what this is for.
