Note: Dust covers are no longer included with PMAGs.
The PMAG 30 AR 300 B GEN M3 is a dedicated magazine for rifles chambered in 300 Blackout. While standard AR-15 magazines may be used for this cartridge, the potential danger exists to chamber and fire a 300 Blackout round in a 5.56 NATO chamber with catastrophic results. Optimized for 300 AAC Blackout, the PMAG 30 AR 300 B retains all the GEN M3 features adding a distinct rib design and smoother upper texture to set them apart from other PMAGs for quick visual and tactile identification. This AR mag is easy to disassemble and clean for regular maintenance and won't fail you in the field.
Features:
- Dedicated 300 Blackout magazine
- Impact and crush resistant polymer construction
- Optimized internal geometry for 300 BLK
- Anti-tilt, self-lubricating follower
- Long life USGI-SPEC stainless steel spring
- Over-travel insertion stop
- Distinct rib design and smoother upper texture for easy identification
- Aggressive front and rear texture
- Paint pen dot matrix panels
- Flared floorplate

Good

Good, but Lancer 300 mags are better. A lot better.
Rattles
by Alexander -
If these mags are at least 1/3 of the way full, they begin to rattle like crazy if you subject them to movement. I wish I had seen this issue before I bought them or I would have went with Lancer instead.
Here is a demonstration of what I mean. This isn't even my video and look at the comments. This was an issue for many people 5 years ago and they still haven't fixed it.

And this is from someone who loves my 5.56 PMAGs. Also the 20 rounder 300 blk pmag has the same issue.

I want to thank Primary Arms for having these at this price. I have had no issues with these mags and this will make my current total at 8 of them. Magpul makes a great product and I will be buying more in the future.

These are supposed to come with dust covers, it even says so on the packaging, but they do not… missing dust covers, I’ve contacted PA to replace or refund me
PMAG's the best
by Dennis -
purchased to remove any doubts about using 5.56 fully loaded mags for heavy 300 blk
Excellent mag.

No doubt Magpul PMG's rule. PA is also great; price, availability, selections and delivery. Please change your picture and descriptor to reflect that the dust/protector for the Magpul PMAG 30 Gen M3 300 Blackout AR-15 Magazine - 30 Round is not included. I would still have purchased this item. regardless.
Purpose built for performance.

I built a pair of upper receivers; one is a 25-45 Sharps and the other one is a 300 Ham'r. The internal geometry of the Mil-Spec magazines for 5.56x45mm NATO is restricted for the bigger diameter bullets. These are designed for the 300BLK, but work wonderfully for the oddball rounds.
