The PMAG 30 AR 300 B GEN M3 is a dedicated magazine for rifles chambered in 300 Blackout. While standard AR-15 magazines may be used for this cartridge, the potential danger exists to chamber and fire a 300 Blackout round in a 5.56 NATO chamber with catastrophic results. Optimized for 300 AAC Blackout, the PMAG 30 AR 300 B retains all the GEN M3 features adding a distinct rib design and smoother upper texture to set them apart from other PMAGs for quick visual and tactile identification. This AR mag is easy to disassemble and clean for regular maintenance and won't fail you in the field.

Works better for Russian ammo

Pmags are just the best. Then the different texture does make it simple to distinguish this as a 300 black magazine. More importantly the internals are optimized for the 300 blackout. They feed any and all ammo.

300BLK Specific Mags

This 300BLK Magpul 30rd magazine is a great addition to my 300 Blackout build, and are very reliable.
Aside from the label 300BLK and the distinct rib design, I replaced the lockplate with Type 1 Tactile Lock Plate for a distinguishing marker. It makes this mag easily identifiable from my other 556 mags, even in the dark.
I am waiting for the release of 20rd 300BLK magazine which Magpul says it's coming soon.

I say a Magpul video talking about theses new magazines they had out and how they designed them for the 300 blackout and how they are better than .223/5.56 magazines. So I bought 4 of them. Well worth it I did see and little difference in the feeding and performance of the weapon during shooting and cycling.
