The Professional Armorer's Wrench from Midwest Industries is a multi-use tool designed to work with any 5.56 or 7.62 platform rifle component. It is designed to work with encapsulated and pin-style barrel nuts, including the GI-style nut.
The Professional Armorer's Wrench also has a castle nut drive with a three-notch engagement and a 3/4 inch wrench for A2 muzzle devices and thin flats on popular suppressor mounts. When used as a torque wrench, the Professional Armorer's Wrench features the specs on the wrench handle.

Works A LOT better then the amazon junk.

Works a lot better than the cheap junk off amazon. I snapped pieces off barrel nuts with the cheap wrenches you get everywhere else. This MI one is 100x better and I see it easily lasting for my lifetime.
Best multi tool

School of the American rifle showcased this it’s top notch quality castle but teeth are way better than any one else’s multi tool. Used it about 10 times since I bought it. It’s the best multi tool out there!

Solid, well built, and functional. I don't worry about this tool slipping, not engaging my gun parts, or breaking while working on my weapons. This tool does everything it claims to and at an excellent price... especially when Primary Arms works their magic and puts it on sale. You ROCK PA!
Seems pretty sturdy

I bought this mainly to have a purpose-built wrench for the castle nut. It has served that purpose well for me. I haven't used any of the other functions yet, but this seems to be a pretty sturdy tool. I'm satisfied so far.

First armorers wrench

First: I wish some master armorer (or, even very experienced amateur) would post a side-by-side comparison article. I could not find such a comparison of wrenches and had to trust my gut instinct when finally deciding to through down funds on one. I would like to complete a full build some day, but have only used this wrench for a couple minor parts swaps so far. That said, I like the balance and design features thus far. This wrench has a nice balance, heft and feel of a quality designed tool. Unfortunately, I don't have anything to directly compare it to, but am pretty comfortable with my decision to buy the Midwest Industries Professional Armorers Wrench. This seems like a solid choice and decent value.
