This Primary Arms rifle scope is part of the SLx optics line. SLx optics have built a reputation for innovation, reliability, and value. All SLx optics undergo rigorous field-testing during development to best serve you in any environment.

The Primary Arms 4-14x44mm rifle scope was the first step into first focal plane (FFP) optics and remains one of the most cost-effective options on the market. Having a reticle stay 'true' through the entire magnification range opens a world of possibility for hunters, marksman, and competitors everywhere. Add in "built like a tank" construction and a lifetime warranty, and it's easy to see why this scope is so popular.

Features:
  • Traditional MIL-DOT reticle can be used to accurately range and holdover
  • First Focal Plane reticle stays true at all magnifications
  • High strength aircraft grade aluminum body
  • Side-adjustable parallax and fast focus eye piece for crisp view of the target and reticle
  • 30mm main tube compatible with your favorite rings and mounts
  • Tactile and audible 1/10 MIL windage and elevation adjustments
  • Exposed tactical style turrets with Zero Reset
  • Shockproof, waterproof, and fog resistant
  • Parallax adjusts from 15 yards to infinity!
  • Excellent glass clarity

At the heart of the 4-14x44mm rifle scope is the first focal plane MIL-DOT reticle. Properly matched with MIL/MIL turret adjustments, this traditional reticle in use by military forces in almost every country allows shooters to range and find their hold overs without being forced to use caliber specific BDC systems. Each dot is .25 MILs with a full MIL measured from the center of one dot to the next. For shooters who want a proven reticle with wide spread military acceptance, the MIL-DOT is perfect for you.

A scope that won’t hold up to real world use won’t do any good, so they built the 4-14x44mm FFP tactical rifle scope to last with a heavy-duty aircraft grade 6063 aluminum body and 30mm main tube. Waterproof, shockproof, and fog resistant, this scope is perfectly at home on an AR-15 or your favorite hunting rifle. Even better, the MIL/MIL turrets track correctly through their full 17.5 MIL adjustment range, allowing for confident adjustments for shooters who prefer to count their clicks. With clear glass, heavy duty construction, and a true first focal plane reticle that can be leveraged at every magnification, the 4-14x44mm rifle scope from Primary Arms offers shooters a versatile and effective rifle scope, covered by a lifetime warranty!

FFP 4-14 Mil Mil

by

Primary Arms lives up to its reputation of outstanding customer service. My first scope had a problem with the parallax adjustment which was just an unforeseeable manufacture defect. Customer service was nothing short of fantastic; my new replacement scope went out that day and a return postage email was also sent out to my email immediately. The scope is amazing. I really don’t know how they can pack that much into such a low price. I have owned and professionally used many scopes over the last 28 years and this deal is really unheard of. Great Company.

Great customer service

by

Prompt and knowledgable answers to my questions before and after the sale. Great customer support, which is rare these days, and the scope is more than I expected for the price. These guys have certainly earned my future business.

Great bang for your buck!

by

Purchased a while back for my POF 308 and have to say for the money you won't find a nicer scope. No its not a Trijicon or higher end Leupold or a Nightforce but you would able to be 4-10 of these for what 1 of the others go for. If you're a glass snob then it's not for you but if you want a nice scope for a great price you can't go wrong!

Nice Scope for the cost

by

Purchased this for my M1A and I was able to shoot 1" groups at 100 yards bench rest. I still have to try it at 300 yards. I like that you can set the turret caps to zero and adjust from there for wind-age and elevation and get back to your 100 yard zero again very easy. I also can see the staples holding the target at 100 yards! Still have to get use to the 1/10 mil. adjustments over MOA. Power ring is a little stiff, but it was 35 deg. outside. I am happy I got this over the 4-14X44 with the DMR reticle which is to busy for my needs.

its ok.

Purchased this scope for a vepr 7.62x 54r. Scope is first ffp scope that I have purchased. Received scope and out of the box noticed while looking down through it a piece of lint or dust in the upper left quadrant of the scope. Its was stuck somewhere in the glass internally. Since I was going to the range the next day, I mounted her to my rifle to see if it would hold up. 500 rounds later, the scope is intact, functioning flawless. I like the first focal plane, i'm going to keep her to see how many rounds she can take before breaking if ever she does. I would have given a higher rating, but shipping a scope with a blemish on the glass doesn't show good quality control. Other than that, shipping was great from primary arms, hopefully mine was just a lemon.

Awesome Scope

by

Put it on my Savage model 12 .243 bull barrel. With a basic ballistic calculator I had Winchester 100g busting Milk Jugs at 500yds with ease. Looking forward to going out to 1000yards.

awesome scope for the price

by

Put this baby on a talontunes AAA condor and i can reach out to 250 yards. Thats with a air rifle! The scope passed box test, parallax adjustment is on par with the yardage markings, and jus looks nice. Wont find a better ffp for the money

4-14X Mil Mil FFP Scope

by

Put this great scope on a DPMS LR308. Great clarity, easy to operate. Made hits at 300 plus yards easy. I am planning to buy another.

Great Scope for the Money!

by

Put this scope on a custom built SPR rifle. Zero'd the rifle at 100 yards and on my confirmation group shot .25 MOA. The scope tracks really well, the glass is as clear as a Nikon, and the mil dots are spot on. My only negative is the eye relief; it's very unforgiving, but if you know what you're doing then it works. For the price this scope is as good as scopes costing 3-4 times as much.

Really Good Scope

by

Really clear and very little chromatic aberration. There is also very little warping. The zero point doesn't shift through the magnification range. The turrets could use more pronounced detents. It would be awesome to have illumination of the reticle. I have mine mounted on an AR-10T and the scope is definitely built to handle a little recoil.
