Details

This Primary Arms basic scope mount works with M4, AR-15, and similar “flat-top” 1913 Picatinny mounting platforms. Fits scopes with 30mm tubes, or use the included metal 1-inch adapter shims to mount a 1-inch tube scope. Aluminum construction, durable matte black anodized finish. This tough scope mount features a lifetime warranty.

To make sure that the mount nut is fully tightened, turn the nut clockwise until resistance is encountered. After that, turn another 1/2 turn. If a torque wrench is being used, they recommend no more than 35-40 in-lbs.

Judging from the pictures I thought this mount might not be a good idea seeing it had only 1 screw for mounting to the rail, but judging from others that gave it a positive review I figured I'd give it a try. I was impressed when I saw it in person. This mount is beefy, solid, and mounts very securely to the rail. I'd buy a 2nd just to have.

More solid than I had expected. Made in China, but looks like what quality is expected in American products. Primary Arms seems to have done its due diligence - it's an overseas product done right.

Basic Scope Mount

Mounted scope with plenty of clearance on my AR. Mount was much stronger than I expected, looks great on the rifle and you can't beat the price. Fast shipping.

High quality scope mount

Mounts securely to the top rail. Scope rings use torx bolts, but a wrench is included. For a budget mount, it's hard to beat.
