Game changer
by Michael Dye
Wow, this nova is unbelievable how bright the dot is on 11, it's too bright and makes me grin especially after having crap illumination on all previous LPVOs. The glass is great as well, I'm beyond happy with this scope it's a keeper for sure. No more red dot at 45° getting hung up on crap to get around poor dot brightness. I love this thing.. get one!
Very nice LPVO

For the price this is an absolutely epic LPVO. The glass is crystal clear, the "red dot reticle" is absolutely gorgeous and it comes with a throw level. Primary Arms outdid themselves with this one!
This is it. what you've been looking for

Illuminated Reticle Saved the Day!
by Bryan Sommers -
While hunting for a Black Bear at 8:45 PM and the forest getting darker by the moment, a 250lb Black Bear came into view 50 yards out, weaving between trees and moving away from me. I could only make out the big hairy black mass because of the low light and the bear’s black color. The Fiber Wire Reticle helped me to track the bear and keep my aim on him as he quietly attempted to walk away. The bear stopped and looked back at me, exposing the light brown color of its nose, which gave me the opportunity for a shot. Without the lightened reticle, I would not have attempted this shot.
My first lpvo
by DJ -
My first venture into the world of lpvo for my AR. Combined with the PA GLx 30mm Cantilever Mount, this is one solid set-up. The scope just looks and feels way more expensive than it is. Glass is very nice, controls easy to use, and the Nova reticle is just fantastic at levels of daylight. I did quite a bit research getting to this point, but am totally happy with this.
Outstanding

Like most, I've used a lot of 1-6 and 1-8 mid-tier LPVOs - good ones. All very nice. This one is the best by far. Glass is great, and the reticle is where it shines. For those wondering, yes, the red dot is PLENTY daylight bright. I'm buying another one.
Best bang for buck

Killer optic. I've owned a bunch of LPVOs including Razor HD-E, Viper PST Gen 2, PST Gen 1, Trijicon TR24 & TR25, and a Steiner P4Xi.
I prefer this over the Viper PST Gen 2 and P4Xi. Size/weight, reticle, dot brightness, eye relief are all very good, although I find the eye box just a touch tighter when off-center than the aforementioned Viper PST Gen 2 and P4Xi.
You'll have to spend about twice as much to get an optic that's meaningfully better, in my opnion. PA really knocked it out of the park on this one.
Great for the money….except
by TKM320
Great scope for the money. Clear glass and a great reticle. Included lens covers are pretty nice. Small Cattail on the magnification ring works ok. But, If using it for competition and this is the “except”….the magnification ring is very stiff and most importantly… it moves the opposite of any other scope I’ve owned in 30 years. Weird….it actually moves right to left to magnify. Not sure I would have purchased it if I had known. Muscle memory if hard to change. Never saw this in any online reviews.
Bang for buck

I’ll just compare this to the SLX 1-6 FFP raptor
Glass is clarity is good similar to the Raptor but not quite as good but it is also SFP vs FFP but there is a little more distortion at the outer edges in comparison but a non issue to me.
Bezel is thin significantly less than the Raptor
FOV is quite a bit less at all magnifications this was surprising.
Eye relief/scope shadow was not noticeably different to me.
Brightness this is basically red dot bright unlike the raptor that isn’t bad but not going to be lit up in all conditions.
Magnification at 1x it is obvious there is a slight magnification, the raptor feels pretty close to a true 1x.
The magnification ring is a bit stiff and the addition of the throw lever is nice but it’s sharp and not quite big enough for me.
Reticle simple, effective, and not cluttered at all.
If they come out with a 1-8 I’ll be getting one for sure.
BEST ENTRY LEVEL LPVO ON THE MARKET
by Oscar
If you're just getting into LPVO's this is your best bet. The reticle is simple and easy to read, with a red dot so bright I almost got flash burn on my cornea when I turned it on, with that being said the brigthness has 11 settings and it looks crisp and sharp on all of them. I have astigmatism and the Fiber Optic alows me to see it extremly well with no starburst whatsoever.
The optic has a solid feel to it with nice weight, nice audible clicks along with really clear glass make it easy to zero.
Whether you're a professional or a noob to the LPVO game you will love it. Also, the new shake awake battery cap will be coming out soon, and will be perfect for this setup.
