Basically Perfect
by GG Allen
PA is zeroing in on the perfect balance of qualities at this price point. I have nothing bad to say about what I paid for-- it's fast up close, clear far away. The eye box is still practical for running around. I have the Nova variant and the brightness is truly red dot or brighter bright. Controls are better than some far pricier scopes.
Whatever minor deficiencies this does have are not deficiencies at this price point. I would argue it's hard to find non-marginal performance differences until you're past $1000. If you are completing a build on a non-ultralight 14.5" or longer rifle and you don't care about night vision, stop futzing around with piggybacked RMRs and prisms and offsets. Put this on your gun. You will thank PA.
Hey PA! If you made a PLX version of this with reduced weight or finer I will buy two more of them. I don't need FFP or higher magnification powers, just this right here, but more of it.
BEST LPVO FOR THE MONEY
by Spencer
primary arms outdid themselves with this. i took a gamble on the pre order since they give a generous military discount. I do not regret it at all. reticle is CRISP. glass is beautiful. the fact that this is considered a budget LPVO is wild to me. this is the new gold standard for “budget” optics. you will not regret this purchase. buy with confidence.
Nice Work
by Honest John
Honestly, This device is proper!
Took it out, zeroed, and it did what it was designed to do. I don't have any others to compare it to right now but if this considered "good/budget" then I can only imagine what 1,000 LPVO has to offer.
No regrets and pleased.
- Eye box is a bit touchy (I wear glasses too).
- I purchased the longer throw lever. Much better
Extremely Impressed!
by Andrew -
First range trip today and I was very impressed! Bright dot, clear glass, easy adjustments. In fact, the glass at 6x was more crisp than my 10x42 binos. Only had 100 yd, but managed several groups with a fresh 223 wylde upper from .8-1.25", which I feel is great. Looking forward to taking it out a bit further to test the reticle.
The new standard for budget LPVO's
by KeenShot
Absolutely lives up to the hype, punches well above it's price point. Yeah, it's going to get compared a lot to the PST Gen 2, and I can honestly say the overall glass quality and image/FOV/Reticle, and illumination are frankly better than the Vortex. Still doesn't quite match the Vortex in build quality or external controls, and the eyebox is a tad less forgiving, but this Nova scope is hands down the best LPVO on the market under $500.
Can’t beat for the price!
by Adam J.
Extremely impressed with this optic especially for the price. Glass is excellent, love the reticle and the fiber illumination is very bright and crisp. The magnification control is smooth and the scope adjustment dials have nice positive clicks to them. Scope also came with flip up lens covers which is a nice addition. Im definitely going to be ordering another one in the near future for another one of my rifles.
