Great optic!
by E
Optic feels very rugged, reticle etching is very crisp, illumination settings don’t bleed out, you can still acquire reticle when optics turned off, it held its zero under 100 rounds of drills and dropping the optic against gear to transition to pistol. My only complaint is the mounting option. To get the ultimate height and preferred eye relief combo, you lose a lot of rail space.
Nice and simple and works with astigmatisms!!!!

I have always had an issue with red dot sights being a blur. The etched chevron is nice and clear (though tiny unmagnified......) The instructions weren't very clear on integrating it with the magnifier. I thought I had the adjustable diopter set for a clear reticle but when I put the magnifier behind it, I couldn't get it to adjust so it was clearly visible. After a bunch attempts to figure it out,, I readjusted the diopter while looking through the magnifier and tadaaaa. Not a knock on the product, just the manual. It proably should have a short section on combing it with a magnifier. Once figured out, it has been a great combo on my SBR.
Another Winner From PA

I just received yesterday my SLx Micro and I've already got 180 rounds on it. Very nice. Zeroed with five rounds at 50 and nice tight grouping at 100. Held zero. No problems at all. The FDE color matched my FDE AR perfectly. I've have several other PA optics which I've had for a few years and I have never had a problem with any of them. I love the ACSS reticle and I prefer it over my EOTECH (which I also really like). I'm going to give this optic a couple months and put more rounds down range with it before I buy another but at this point if all goes well I'll be buying another. A word about PA as a company in general, I have purchased both PA branded products and non PA products from PA and I have always had a very good experience with them. I highly recommend purchasing from PA.
Great alternative to red dot.

On a 300 blackout 16" carbine. 50 yd zero with 125grn loads. Have run 110, 147 and 150grn loads as well through it. No noticeable change at 50 yds. Glass is clear, quick to get on target with the ACSS horseshoe. Have had no issues with the illumination in daylight. If you have astigmatism, this is the optic for you. If you have ever run an ACOG you will not be disappointed...budget optic does not equal cheap optic, and I think that is one of the biggest things Primary Arms provides.
Poor image, not a 1x as advertised
by Jonathan -
I observed everything was considerably smaller when looking through this optic after mounting it. If I looked at a mailbox 50 yds away, it looked like it was 80 yards away. If I looked at the door frame to my room, the edges would not line up between the optic and my actual view. Everything is shrunk!
I used the diopter as described in the manual. I could change the clarity, but not the size of anything. No matter the eye relief, diopter position, etc. I could not make objects appear to be 1x. I sent the optic along with a pic of what I was describing to PA (at my own expense), but they just sent me the optic back without acknowledging my specific complaint saying it passed their standard.
I cant reutrn the optic as I am outside of the 90 day return window (my fault) but overall I find this optic useless and cannot recommend it or PA’s customer service to anyone.
We were happy we could reach out to you on this. Per our conversation please let us know if we can help you with anything.
"Holy Cow! Why is it so clear?!" Said the wife

Not much needs to be said when the glass is the clear. My first Prism scope, and I plan on buying a couple more. PA nailed it with this thing. So clear and sturdy!
nice, but poor hardware
by John -
I love the clarity of the prism, but so far I've had 2 mounting bolts break, and yes, even when using a torque wrench.
The sight is great, but I don't trust the mounting system at all.
Note: We are happy that we could get with you on this issue and per our email please contact us if you need further assistance.
Great astigmatism optic option
by Spencer -
I have terrible eyes. Traditional red dots look like starburst flares in their housing. This thing, though, is crystal clear. The reticle, illuminated or not, is very visible and easy to read even to my challenged eyes. In the box it came feeling solid and extremely well built, with plenty of risers and hardware to do whatever you need to mount it to your preferred level. My only issue was that it was very difficult to get the diopter adjustment dial loose the first time I went to adjust it. Out of the box the furthest-in setting is perfect for clarity, but my magnifier begged to differ. Adjustments were necessary, and so too were vice grips wrapped around a towel to get that dial loose. After that, it’s smooth as could be. Great optic. Buy one if you’ve never tried a prism. I’ll never go back.
