The Seekins Precision Adjustable Gas Block is a low-profile precision machined upgrade for your AR-15. A finely tuned gas system can significantly reduce recoil, allowing for faster follow up shots, maintaining shot by shot target acquisition, and improving the overall reliability of the platform.

This side-adjusting set screw allows the user to readily change gas pressure, in some cases, directly through the hand guard. Lock the desired setting in place with the front facing nitrided set screw.

Steel construction and a durable Melonite finish help reduce erosion of the gas block allowing for a longer service life.

Features:
  • Set screw style mounting
  • Salt bath nitride finish
  • Overall height: 1.37"
  • Width: 0.94"
  • .750" gas seat diameter
  • Just 1.8 oz

Outstanding

This gas block is an outstanding value for the money. It offers very precise adjusment. As far as fitment with various hand guards, if you have an opening in your current handguard that exposes the rearward/upward most half of your current gas block, you will be able to easily access the adjustment screw.

Works on my 7.62 build

by

I bought a 7.62 upper that only let me shoot 3 rounds at the range before it froze. It was severely under-gassed. I took it home and reamed the gas port to the next greater size. I installed this block, and was able to access the adjustable screw and set screw with the handguard on. Took it back to the range days later and it cycled ammo like Tula, Wolf, Barnaul, Monarch, and some 20 year-old Russian ammo without a hiccup! I'm very happy with this block that I bought another one for my latest build.

Works fine

Put this on an 11.5" with carbine length tube. The hand guard blocked access to the screw so I fired without it. Started 1 turn out and it fte. Ended at 1.5 turns out, reinstalled the hand guard and it ejects every case. I'll buy another one for a 7.5".
